After a lot of thinking while coming down off the tilt, I came to my conclusion that is probably best for the rest of you. Just wait it out. There is not a possibility to cashout anymore or xfer to people to do it for you outside the U.S. If you stay up and follow threads looking for a way out you will stress yourself out to a dangerous level so my best advice is to just wait. If and when they find a way to fix this, then there won't be a tiny window or short amount of time where you need to SNAP cash out then SNAP log off, it will be fixed for good. Just go out, do something fun, just get your mind off this b/c youre either finished or theres some hope - well i'm not gonna wait around and stress myself out! tried but not really feeling good about it man, ive resigned to the huge possibility its going to be very hard to get my money considering theyve frozen the philippine bank account in charge of withdrawals. best thing would be to relax and find life solutions elsewhere. after this shit i dont think i can ever trust my money online anymore (except if stars gets to resolve this) so this will probably be gg poker for me if ever i dont see my money in my bank account again. used the bank wire so i dont know if thats a smart thing to do too.

After reading the full report posted by TenBagger what I'm really curious to know is how many fish were still depositing from the USA after the enactment UIGEA. If Pokerstars and FTP were still processing similar amounts of transactions after the supposed blocks were put in place that would mean American fish even casual fish have been finding simple ways to get funds online. The toughening of online games has long since been blamed on fish not being able to deposit funds easily because of the UIGEA. Have fish been able to easily get money onto Pokerstars and FTP all this time? Not living in the USA I don't really know what it's like for fish to deposit. Lots of them seem to find a way to get money online so was it ever really made more difficult or did we just believe that?

its in tenbaggers post. go back a couple pages you'll see it reads that it includes philippine bank accounts, who were obviously poker payment processor dummys and it seems theyve been seized.

anyway fuck it im done stressing over this, people with a lot more money invested and a lot more responsibilities are facing worse problems than I am. I just wish everyone good luck and keep calm for now.

I wish I were american

that way I wouldn't have lost 30bi today playing overlay tourneys against russian/spanish/brazilian fields

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

i think larry flynt wants to be indicted. and knowing that, i think he and his lawyer has an argument for the courts that would possibly be good for online poker.

have you seen the larry flynt movie? omg.. i really wish he gets indicted!

Got this email from pokerstars now after emailing them again. So i guess non-us are relatively safe for now, I dunno but it feels like stars has prepared for this
and i find it hard to believe they'll just give up and run. They dont owe any investors money thats why you cant compare lehman scamming bs to this, they just need to lawyer up well and continue servicing non us customers for now and theyll be fine. As for me and others out there, withdrawing half would not be a terrible idea though

Hello pcboi,

Thank you for responding and please accept my apologies for any confusion caused in the previous email.

PokerStars is owned and operated by a legal entity licensed and located in the Isle Of Man (a crown dependency of the United Kingdom) and we pride ourselves in abiding by all relevant laws and regulations. The current situation about which you have inquired only impacts US Players.

PokerStars will continue to offer its services to all other jurisdictions. As we are not a law firm, it is difficult for us to advise our customers as to the legal situation in every jurisdiction, however the recent change is not targeted in any way at your jurisdiction.

Most importantly, rest assured your funds are safe with PokerStars and will be accessible to you whenever you may wish to withdraw.

We will keep all of our players up-to-date with any future developments.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and concern, and thank you for choosing PokerStars.

Regards,

Hogan
