My favorite part was when Walt was talking to skylar and he finally admits it wasn't all for the family; he steps out from behind that facade and admits that he liked what he did and much of it was for himself. Dying man doing what he wants with his last days. Felt like that was pretty cathartic for walt and sky both

only minor gripe with the end was that it was predictable. knew basically everything that would happen the last episode so there wasnt any suspense to it, never had an edge of my seat feel but loved every minute of it. but would have been really awful if they tried to twist it because it wouldnt have flowed well from where it came. the final season as a whole is my favorite season of a series ever.

Well that was fucking cool. Not sure I could suspend my disbelief enough for the machine gun thing as opposed to just a bomb but hey, still basically the best thing I've ever watched. I mean why couldn't he have just set off a bomb or something and shielded Jessie with his body? gives the exact same scenario.

Maybe he wanted to go out like a boss and not like a dirty towelheaded jihadist

This gave very little closure. Is Walt supposed to be dead? with the police finding him that quickly after he collapsed I am pretty sure the hospital is going to be able to patch him up. Also, how did he catch a bullet? he was on the ground, was it a ricochet? If so, less damage.

So after all this time Jessie and Walts relationship just ends with "i'm not going to shoot you, do it yourself", and then Jessie driving off like a madman into the distance. What happened to Jessies desire for punishment, what is he going to do now? What happend to Walt wanting to kill Jessie? Is it all, forgive n forget? What happened to Walt Jr? The police case?

Idk just felt like it needed an epilog. Perhaps with someone becoming a lumberjack.

Well it was no Dexter finale but it'll do.

I'm pretty sure he no longer wants to be punished for what he did. He lost everything; even Andrea got killed because of him. He thought he was going to die for certain, and he made it out alive. He's never going to forgive himself for it, but that kind of guilt could not possibly be gotten over by doing anything. He doesn't even have any more money to throw away anyway.

As far as Walt forgiving Jessie, my view of things is that Walt finally had time to think things through while he was secluded in the cabin. He had nothing to do but think. He initially made his decision to get Jesse killed to protect him and his family, and then because he felt that it was Jessie's fault that things turned out so badly with Hank. He finally realized how selfish he had been the entire time, even confessing it to Skyler. He was using his family as a pretense to feel truly alive, some kind of desperate urge that came from his cancer diagnosis. Jessie gets closure knowing that Walt is dying in pain, and Walt feels responsible now for ruining everybody's lives, including Jessie's, but now made things as right as he could.

I believe Skyler and Flynn will get adequate closure. Skyler now knows that Walt wasn't evil, just a desperate, selfish man who had things go horribly wrong. She gathered enough information about Walt making it his top priority to protect the family, and she knows they'll be safe with Walt's final sacrifice. Flynn's view of his father, I think, will eventually become the same as Skyler's, because she will tell him what he did. Flynn was angry with his dad while he was alive, but once he knows he is dead and he hasn't killed Hank, he will have a different perspective.

I liked the ending. There was a silly detail though, the stevia thing with Lydia. She can't possibly use so much stevia. It's not like sugar... powdered stevia is so damn sugary tasting (it has no actual sugar but tastes extremely sugary). You only need a minimal amount to make something extremely bitter taste sweet. She has a chamomile tea with soy milk, which isn't really bitter at all... she can't possibly need that big of a bag. Such a big bag would sweeten up something really bitter for like a liter or something. Maybe she could have survived if she had used only the realistic dose of stevia instead and gotten a small amount of ricin. (The funniest thing is she asks for even more stevia... sorry but that's just dumb, try it for yourself). Also, how did Walt know she would use that particular table? He must have made the bag before they got there... I'm guessing she always used a table in the middle or something but it could have been taken.

what i really loved is that from the moment walt found the keys to the car, everything just clicked and went exactly as he planned

right after he gently hit the car window and the snow fell off i had this feeling hes gonna rape this off and he did. There were many things where u would generally have many questions and ifs about how successful certain plans could be, for example the machine gun placement, lydia proceeds exactly as he planned, how would he enter skylers house if its watched, the schwarz scene etc etc but not this time.

What?

How do the mechanics of that work? Does he wear the bomb on his person? (Did you miss out on the body search?)

Or do you think you could blow up an entire cabin and kill everyone except for someone you are shielding with your body? Because that seems less plausible.

Very comforting ending, but still liked it.

I think this is the reason why they didnt blow him up, obviously using a bomb is waaaaaaaaay easier and reliable than his gun mount but the American public would have a hard way reconciling blowing yourself up with heroism.

And to clarify dumb questions:

Yes walt obviously dies before the police get to him, thats the whole point of the scene where he smears blood on meth equipment

Yes obviously Lydia dies from Ricin i dont give a fuck how bitter that thing she uses is for fucks sake...

Thinking more about the finale, the one thought that went through my head while watching it was how would the naszi's not think to check Walt's car thoroughly before allowing him in?

They should know he is very capable of many different things and they just stole his money. That was the one part I didn't really like too much but it wasn't that big of a deal. The beginning with Badger and Skinny Pete was probably my favorite ^_^

i'm not really satisfied with the ending. but tehre wasn't really anywhere else it could go.

i remember being much more tense and nervous when watching the dynamic with tuco into the 2 mexican hitmen brothers, to the guy in the wheel chair and gus.

this season...i can't really even hate on jack for being a neo nazi, they all just look like hipsters to me.

todd....has like downsyndrome and should be best friends with breakfast...they didn't even do a good job making him come off as a psycopath, lydia...iono if she's even that bad of a human being. didn't really care that he killed her or even felt the need for her to die.

for me the highlight was much earlier in the season when Mike died. u could really see wat an insecure person walt is, and the compassion and empathy that they built up for mike over the years hit home for me.

the final bosses, lydiah, jack todd, + hipster gang...i couldn't care less....iono

also remember when jesse buys his house from him parents? like i wanted the series finale to be all of those above feelings elevated on meth....

iono guessmy expectations were too high.

still the best tv show i've seen to date. the wire/sopranos come close

I had a very different view of Todd and he didn't have many layers but his simple nature was just...creepy sometimes. Guy has like no soul or morals but he's like your polite next door neighbor who has secretly kept children captive in his underground dungeon for years. I remember seeing Todd smile while chomping on some food when Jesse mentioned that Todd blew some kid's head off...like wtf? Guy was pure evil.

It's been 24 hours since I saw the finale and I still have the same feelings about the show. Def best show I've ever seen.

TheHuHu4 coming soon :)

Are you serious? Lydia is ridiculously evil, she was the one who first wanted to murder every single one of Mikes guys from prison, she made the nazis kill the whole other cartel group with the 70% purity meth, she wanted Skyler dead, Walter dead, even Mike dead, basically anyone that she felt was even a slight inconvenience, and she never showed any remorse. And im not sure about this but she was also probably the richest out of everyone there, with the high paying job and the money drug, so no real incentive for her other than pure greed. Souless bitch.
