Pity Phil left... But I'm pretty excited to see Galfond.

not gonna pick on small things here, but what do you think of galfond's 3-bet sizing, wasn't it too tiny?

ROFL!!!

was that benyamine
lol that really made me LoL

oh and and it seems everyone in the fucking world didnt listen to what david benyamine really said. He said he didn't put daniel on a A high or K high flush bc of how he'd played it. He said there was a decent chance that IF DN had the T or J high Flush he would fold it and he said he had a read that doyle didn't have a flush. I think there's a good chance it was a good play.

rofl Phil Galfond

I also think that what D. Benyamine wanted to say was that he thought that D.N. didn´t had the flush, but if he did, there was a small chance that he would fold a medium flush.

2 questions.

1.) chances of GSN running a season 6 marathon at some point?
2.) does youtube have all the episodes/not tilting to navigate through them all?

Is Doyle's play really that bad? How often does someone have QQ, KK, AA, AK there? He was only 2-1 dog so he only lost about 100k in EV when trying to win 14k. I guess he could have raised it like 35k just in case the nit wakes up with a hand, but it's Dwan's straddle and he likes to put 100k in the pot preflop with 68os. If he raises 50k then he's practically pot committed. Doyle has also said time and time again that he hates AQ. He probably gaines a lot of FE vs 88-TT and maybe even JJ. Maybe it's a terrible play for Dwan since he has a huge postflop edge, but if you're a postflop dog and you have no confidence in playing AQ and you're probably going to ship most flops anyway, you might as well ship it in and pray nobody has the nuts.

13.8k in the pot preflop and he open shoves 150k. lets say people call with AK, AA, KK, QQ. AQs is winning 28% of time vs that range. So he needs to be called 1 every 11 times or less with that calling range to be profitable.

It's 7 handed and the calling range is 2% of all hand combinations, hes got to get through 66people for this to be profitable.
66x2%=132. 132/100=.76 Needs to be 1 or higher for this to be profitable. ( i think hes losing 37k every time he open shoves this?)

Not sure if this is fail maths or not but that's how i see the hand.

1 every 5.5 times according to my calculations.

It definitely looks like a +EV play. Only thing to consider is whether weeding out medium pairs by shoving outweighs the benefits of giving a worse hand a chance to reshove on you.

Peace of mind cant be bought.

yeah, it's definitely not 1 out of 11 times. That might be correct if he was drawing dead by any caller. The fact that 3 out of 10 times he wins 150k changes the numbers a lot.
