i dunno really it was a very weird hand... I didn't think about it but I'm pretty sure benyamine plays mostly PLO last years, and in PLO you do bluff smaller flushes, so could it be possible that he was 100% sure that neither had the nuts, and was valueraising and protecting himself from smaller flushes that still beat him? of course he couldn't know for sure like he was saying on TV, but i can accept that the thought crossed his mind, being a PLO player

I meant on the turn, why did everyone but especially Doyle check? Were the people who had flushes intending to c/r? I guess Doyle clearly wasn't giving up with top set but was he trying to control pot?

yeah i said previously that i dont doubt the thought crossed his mind but i mean, turning his flush into a pure bluff there after overcalling the flop and the turn went C/C/C is really bad, i mean maybe if daniel bet turn and benyamine shoved river then one could stay in awe at such ridiculous crazy bluff, but this is not the case

yes it was pot control, if benyamine the one who looks like flushed bets there, doyle can call there to boat up and win a big pot, if doyle bets and benyamine raises then he is always behind and drawing to a boat

If all three of them were really deep, I think all of them were but not sure, should Doyle have bet called there instead of checking? And should he have checked if the stacks were normal?

i call here

there are weaker flushes in benyamines range,he can player suited trash oop, hes not a nit

he is bluffing a % of the time here, and if hes not he should be(that cr is super strong and DN folded the upper part of his range)

benyamine is a cash player and his normal game is nosebleed.. he is more likely to bluff and go for thin value in this game compared to DN who ive only seen play 200-400, not very often, and is mostly a tourney player who plays weaker opponents.

Is bluffing there standard for most nosebleed players? It looks like a pretty sick spot to bluff.

woodbrave1   United States. Apr 15 2010 00:33. Posts 666

what if people think you are bluffing they are going to snap you off with T high flush. Its awful spot to bluff unless you have a squeaky clean image.

Do not give in to evil, but proceed ever more boldly against it.

any spot where you don't bluff makes you very slightly more predictable, that said people dont have 50k hand histories where they can look up if they've bluffed here before. Except for brian townsend, cole south and fatstings.

Glad I wasn't the only one who flat out didn't believe what DB was claiming about getting DN to fold a middling flush and Doyle to call w/ a weaker hand than that. LOL that's just nonsense to me.

Nobody else recognized monumental mistake on DB's part not to raise the flop ?? ? ? ?

W/ such a weak flush draw coupled w/ the gutter you gotta raise and find out if your draw is best, otherwise you end up playing leveling and guessing games on later streets like what happened. Then DB gets to claim he was a genius when in reality (imo at least) it was dumb luck, and quite an awful river raise.

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol
