lol yeah... he was almost the polar opposite of what i expected of syrio (tall, bald, sharp as knife). instead he's short, kinda stocky, and looks like inigo montoya from princess bride.

So when do we start seeing mythical creatures and big battles among clans?

I started reading the books after the first ep and definitely agree the series is much more enjoyable having read teh books because things make a lot more sense. The show is awesome obv, but it can be confusing to keep track of whose who / why whatever is happening is happening for people who had no clue what G.O.T. was before the series started.

Since we saw Syrio introduced so early, I wonder how many episodes are left for Ned Stark . I predict episode 7 is when gets the axe .

I was pissed when Ned was killed as he was by far my favorite character in the book and now I'm where you are - halfway through the third book and just finished the chapter where Robb was killed. I was pissed yet again as the Starks just can't catch a fucking break and shouldn't the "good" prevail over the "evil"?

Then I took a dump and thought to myself that GRRM doesn't conform to the hollywood formula and this series is a breath of fresh air. But I am running out of characters that I respect and have come to enjoy reading only to have them killed .

I vaguely remember reading the first book of this series about 9 years ago. I think i finished the book within a few days. I had forgotten i had read this book and when i started to see the characters and shit it all started to flood back.

yeah its just minutes between the first torrent site who puts it up, kinda pointless to know who does it first. use extratorrents , its more organized than btjunkie which is like filled with fake and garbage vids

Anything under 999mb is okay, above that and you need to register an account to download the file.

All dvd movies are 690mb to 700mb, which is like a 2 hour movie. Blue Ray movies are much bigger, no idea on their size.

Can't believe how fast this episode went by. They are trying to cover a lot of shit very quickly it seems. We just got introduced to Samwell Tarly and already he's up for assignment. Quick shit is quick.

The last scene of this episode was done perfectly, IMO. Pretty much how I expected it to go. Even the WTF look on Tyrion's face was masterful.

Think it's awesome aswell, but still feel i'm not getting all I want from it, want to see ppl's strength, want to see mythical shit, talk talk talk is awesome here and there but action is a lot cooler.

(I mean, they talk about all these battles, and how powerful this and that guy is, but we never get to see it).

Hope it's just a build up xD
