i watched 1st episode of camelot and thought it was horribad... too bad a eva green got into that

Great books, though its about time martin got off his fat ass and finished the next book. This series better not get fucked up like Legend of the Seeker did.

Casts look good. I'm kind of concerned how close Ned looks to Boromir.. I mean sure, same actor and all, but fuck.. It looks like Boromir got put into a world of Song of Ice and Fire. I probably won't keep myself from muttering terrible jokes that alludes to LotR ("One does not simply walk into...". Hopefully Sean Bean can overcome his Boromir impression on people (as not only is it his most famous look, but the character pretty much has the same style and look). Catelyn looks a bit older than I had imagined. Littlefinger looks absolutely fantastic.

Tyrion, maybe I'm clouded by the WoW, WAR and LotR, I expected him to be more scruffy and bearded looking for some odd reason (with spectacles too!). But it's just that token midget guy in every movie (yay for Death at a Funeral). It's going to be kind of tough to picture him seriously for me -_-..

The world looks much too real and smaller in scale than I had imagined. The jousting tournament looked pretty small in scale, I expected it to be much bigger and grand. An immense city like that of Kentaro Miura's cities.

The actress who plays Cersei needs to be Catelyn IMO.

All of episode 1, and most of episode 2 are introducing the characters and opening up the storyline.
Episode 3 starts to get better.

It's similar to Boardwalk Empire, in terms of how good it is. Boardwalk Empire started off slow, had some good points to keep you interested, but never really was a great show. It's good enough to justify watching a second season though.

DL'd the audiobook, excited for my next road trip/plane trip.
I watched 3 episodes of camelot and it's okay so far, but nothing amazing.

Boardwalk Empire is amazing, wtf.

I've read all the books already, and the show looks epic as hell. I'm happy with all the castings as the trailer looked ballin.

So tempted to watch the 15-minute preview but I think it's better wait and enjoy the episode in its entirety .
