I just saw the weigh ins and Gastelum looked like shit. Its the 3rd time in 5 fights he misses weight , just go back to Middleweight gosh. Whats worse is he supposedly was just 2-3 pounds overweight and then got hospitalized, so they started hydratating him thats why he's 10 pounds over, but the very fact that he got hospitalized should cancel the fight...
Anyways he can't just be overweight every fight and be punished by 30% , thats ridiculous

edit:
And if he wins this he gets pretty close to a title shot, you cant have a contender for the title acting this way

Kinda surprising the fight still happens. I'm wondering at what point the athletic commission steps in or even if the UFC won't let it happen.

People like him(including myself) because he is the real OG
And when you look the guy you know he's had a tough life and is as naive as a child.
It is like a naive and slutty girl, nobody can resist

Unless I'm mistaken, he actually grew up in a pretty decent family under not that rough circumstances? Maybe I'm not remembering correctly.

Anyway I don't mind their trash talk etc, I just dislike when they (the brothers) act completely irrationally (like, sign a contract then throw a hissyfit because they want more stuff that they didn't agree upon).

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

Anderson Silva's face looks like he worked in the office his whole life. Every other fighters' face is all banged up and Anderson fought more fights than any of them.

Random question. Just watched weigh-in. As main event part started...Nick walking in...they switched the music to I think a new track? I mean they usually loop like the same 1-2 songs/tracks always. Anyways, anyone know what this new one is? Sounds like good music to work out to

After the weigh ins i think everybody who bets have to go all in on Woodley.Gastelum looked like shit, ashamed and defeated. He is gonna get knocked out.
Also wtf is wrong with everybody missing weight all the time. This is crazy.Lineker fights at 130 every time.I do not understand why every 220 pound man wants to fight at welterweight.
I hope they make the weigh in 1 hour before the fights(like in wrestling).Sick of watching Heavyweights fighting at 205,185 and even 170.

An 8 episode show that follows Anderson Silva on his comeback to MMA, and most importantly, against the baddest man he's ever faced in Nick Diaz.

Gastelum up to +171/+177 on certain sites, and +160 or better on the rest. I'm not betting that fight, though.

My final bets for this event

----------

Final picks:

• Diaz > Silva
• Woodley > Gastelum
• Iaquinta > Lauzon
• Leites > Boetsch
• Mein > Alves
• Tate > McMann
• Brunson > Herman
• McCall > Lineker
• Watson > Natal
• Brandao > Hettes (Brandao might be sick, dunno. He came in 3 pounds underweight, which is a big deal for a featherweight fighter, especially one who has had issue with cutting weight in the past.
• Alcantara > Moreira
• Santos > Enz

I really feel this fight is rigged, especially after watching this interview.

Nick is just uncomfortable in front of the camera. I wouldn't take much from that interview.

He knows he's fighting the GOAT, and it's a dangerous fight for him, but it's the only opponent that he's legit respected and had nothing negative to say about, afaik. He's hugged, bowed, and shook hands with Anderson in every interview/press conference I've seen.

Anyway, Nick could just be here for 1 last big paycheck, but it's hard to tell. He said he'd only return to fighting if he could fight GSP or Anderson Silva, and he got his wish. There's a ton of variables going into this fight, which makes it really interesting.

The way I see it going down is:

- Anderson by decision
- Diaz by split-decision
- Anderson via TKO (Diaz getting cut and the doctor stopping it. Diaz gets cut easily and bleeds in most of his fights.)

There is a chance that Anderson wins by a regular TKO, but I think he'll want to "test the waters" and get comfortable in the octagon for awhile, so if a TKO comes, it would be in round 3/4/5. However, if Diaz makes it to round 4 and is still relatively okay, I think it's far less likely Anderson wins by TKO in rounds 4/5.
