That one word sums up my day really. I got into a tonne of very marginal spots and was second best every time, kinda sucks. Nevermind though, it happens.
Just gotta keep playing and ill do fine. Racking up a good amount of FPP's so ill get goldstar this month for sure.
Alright, I haven't been playing as much as I would want. The reason being, 3 days after my last blog post, I had lost 2 buyins at fucking NL2 because of bad beats. JJ vs lucky 35o AA vs Q8o 10js hit a straight (10-A) vs royal flush, and a few others that I dare not to metnion.
Luckily I started again yesterday and went up 4 buy ins (actually as I type this I won 1 more buy in). So make that 5 so not bad.
I am still barely under $100 and I'm hoping to break that today or tomorrow.
Currently I'm playing 5 tables, 4 on NL2 and 1 on NL5. So far it's doing fairly well, I might add another table or two because it's getting fairly boring just 5 tables.
For fuck sake, weight lifting is such a bitch, recently I started to do it again cuz I got a bit fatter so need to cut down on fat and up on uscle tonage...
So far its going good but this constant pain is such a bitch.
that weekend i had a very good run, made like 120$ @nl 10 6max in only 3k hands.
im very excited with my progress, idk if my stats r the best (10/8) but everything is going fine w those stats cause in that network u gotta be a rly tight ass in the microlimits just to not be sucked out.
oh btw i took a shot @nl20 4 tabling 6max just bout an hour and got half of a buyin lol.
br now : 400$ +vip bonus comming on friday.
i made a lot of fpp and rake so i wish all days were just like the last two.
oh i almost forgot, now i hate locoo >.< he passed me a link of 2girls1cup..gross!!
well i wish u all have rly good sessions this new week.
peace all

ty 4 rdin.
=)
who gives good fr lessons? i'm considering a 2-3 hour session. after moving up to 100nl, i'm up 2buyins over 37k hands :/ this is after running at 4-5ptbb/100 for the better part of two months at 50nl. it could be a running bad/confidence thing, but i've caught myself making a bunch of mistakes lately. maybe i should move down for a bit, too?
I am fucked starting from tomorrow, term papers, presentations, finals, labs, overdue labs... so I spent my weekend by playing poker, going to pub, going to theaters, tv, books, swimming, playing guitar.... which isnt good.
I seriously cant work until the due date is within 24 hours.. why? I tried it just doesnt work I end up doing other things if I am on computer, i spent like 95% of my time on random things when doing research.
but atleast tomorrow gives me only 24 hours to work on shit, i always end up doing allright so hoppefully it wokr this time too but god dammit.
anyways i started by pulling all my papers together and sat down to do some research... I start to listning to music then I just had to record a this since I saw some other covers it on youtube which werent as good IMO.
(PS should really pay me for this):
enjoy and in return if u have a solution ot my problem let me know.
I've spent the last week playing tourneys and managed to win one, for $1,500, while investing around $2,000 in tournaments.
This stint in tournament poker fucked up my cashgame poker too, I went to the casino tonight and kept trying to make stupid tournament plays...Lost $500....idk...im a fucking retard sometimes, after being down $400, I built a $400 stack and lost it on a ridiculous hand..
I don't think I can do this for a living at all..the swings are crushing me and emotionally bringing me to the ground.
I don't know if I'll be playing tomorrow or not for the next ten years.
But I do know that I need more in my life than just poker, I'm going back to school for something I actually want to do.
I'm bust, and near broke.
I got $100 left on stars, and if I lose it I'm quitting poker for good.
Fun fact! I used to have an online bankroll, but in the past month I've transferred over $600 to other players. NO, not by being a fish at poker, but by the "transfer funds" button with cash IRL changing hands etc. etc.
Thats right. 1 USD. Not even a CDN LOONIE (GG economy!)
So the only rational thing to do at this point is to pull a Chris Ferguson and make it a CHALLENGE! Everyone loves challenges.
The goal: turn $1 into $$ONE THOUSAND$$!!
BY THE WAY, the only game I will be playing is Omaha hi/lo, since like Dmitri Nobles and getting it all in behind, that is my specialty.
I've always maintained that penny table hi/lo is the easiest micro stakes game to beat. If you play holdem penny tables, you're bound to be up against some bad players, but when you push with AK, and the donk with 9-2 suited calls you, you aren't really THAT ahead. Hi/lo is different. A lot of the players have NO CLUE how to play hi/lo. As in, people will think they have straights or flushes and call an all in with high card 10. This does happen. Its funny. They usually complain about how pokerstars is rigged.
Here are the rules of my challenge
a) start with $1, if I bust, I can rebuy, but only for $1 (we'll see how many tries it takes)
b) Goal is to get to $1000
c) Can only move up levels when I have 5 buy ins for that level
d) every time arnie says "FREEZE" you have to take a drink
it was so unreal, every single time, either the board just went to hell, or i got coolered/drawn/suckout/whatevered on.
I cannot express enough just HOW SICK this session was.
The ONLY positive thing to come out of the session is that i definately have an edge. I feel i have a edge on the regulars too, not on all of them though, some seemed really solid and adjusted to me very well.
But, apart from that this session was incredibly hell, i know i whine in this blog a lot, but ive never run this bad in a session before whilst playing so well. 6 buyins is my worst ever day, and to get that kind of shit when i have JUST moved up is really really lame and demoralising.
Whatever, my first session was good so im like, down 1~ buyin overall at nl50 now lifetime, which isnt too bad.
I'm still rolled for nl50, but not very comfortably now.
i've won a ticket to the 650 pca's in every 25r satellite i've played (ok it's just two but EVERY ONE IVE WON), but I always seem to bust early from the 650. Today was this doozie Submitted by : nolan

. Shortly after I jammed K4o sb vs BB who was 10 VPIP all the way through the 150/300 level, and he snapcalled 33% of his stack with KJo (standard?).
Anyways, at least the month in cash games is going good or I'd be really tilting I think.
