I'm not going to type the entire story because it's basically my very bizarre life for the past 6 months.
The most recent "weird event" that happened is as follows: basically someone I knew from 4 years ago recently began talking to me on AIM. He'd be able to predict my thoughts and my future, and wanted me to believe he was "God" talking to me. I'm not religious but I was still weirded out by this. 5 days ago he told me a good friend of mine was going to commit suicide. The next morning, one of my good friends goes missing for the next 3 days. Apparently he got "sudden appendicitis" and had to get emergency surgery in the hospital, then stayed there for the next 3 days.
This leads me to 3 possible conclusions:
1. This was a coincidence
2. My friend is also being mind controlled
3. My friend is in on it

Schizophrenia is not some sort of psycho state of mind, but a mental illness. I know personally a guy who developed schizophrenia and came to my house totally out of it with severe paranoia and it was a very rough time for him and his family you dont want it to get to those stages go get help man.
Jokes aside man please confirm if you are going to a psychologist if you are experiencing some kind of illness the more time it passes the less likely you will go.

A friend of mine is a AI expert who makes simulations of human behaviour, and he'd tell you we know so little about the human brain it's not even funny. And all it takes for this idea is for 2-3 people to post some articles on the internet.
I think you're seeing relations between events when they aren't there. Maybe the analytic and investigational character of poker draws in people who are on average more prone to this (A Beautiful Mind, anyone?).

People influence the way we think all the time, mayb there is no such thing as an original or individual thought. Ultimately my point in this is that IF you are being targetted and mind controlled then you could simply choose not to give a klarp about it, ultimately why would it matter, it only holds a negative influence on you if you fear it or develop a sense of paranoia or negativity associated with the notion of being psychologically controlled. just simply think "hey, mayb I it's true but then why does it matter, it's only damaging if I let it be, EMBRACE THE CONTROL!"

the last 12+ months both cannabis and alcohol very easily tip me over the edge of psychosis. after 1 joint i retire to my room so i dont freak other people (and myself) out, and after 2-3 beers in public i can start to lose track of reality and have skips in my memory/consciousness.
the cannabis effects are similar, losing track of reality and going into a dreamlike state where you dont know if someone is talking to you or if you dreamed it, or if you done something or you just dreamed it. but with the alcohol i also have gaps in self control, where i might start yelling at someone or randomly take a piss in public then be like "wtf just happened" (like having blackouts but not having to be totally wasted).

fwiw on many more times than once in my life i have convinced myself that life isnt what it seems in one way or another. I still feel like most all things that happen in my life are too coincidentally dramatic and plannned perfectly to create the perfect amount of tension in dull moments and sadness at peaks of happiness. My life with women is equally perfectly laid out for entertainment and the time that I spend with friends is spread in a way that if it was documented could be looked @ like they are hired to do it seasonally or something.
that's really just the tip of iceberg but I just assumed that everyone is pretty fucked up and perspective is broken for everyone and their narcissism creates an aura that makes lifes purpose seem all to close to home.
A lot of the time i'm convinced and concerned that people can hear what I'm thinking or that I have woke up to myself in a different dimension and my past is only what i have been briefed and i'm not that person in reality asfdsfdi i have no idea man. I just get drunk and all of it goes away and i am not trapped within the jail cell of my brain. I cannot smoke weed because it amplifies the power of those thoughts to an extent that I realize everyone is fake and nothing is real except for the power of sex and reproduction.
my brain feels like i'm constantly looping with ideas hitting deadends and there is no answers to the questions that i want
i havent had any spectacular coincidences or ghostly experiences, the nearest ive come to being "convinced" about spirituality is when i done DXM 3rd plateau a lot, and when i read about the 5th plateau (people all claim to see white light/aliens), and when i consider the possibility of some form of soul after reading about quantum and various other things and claims
a LOT of people believe in spiritual or paranormal things because of certain experiences, like going to see a psychic who tells you about something specific no one else could have known (my friend claims this is the case - of course i am doubtful and think it was some sort of scam nomatter how good the intentions).
until i actually experience something myself i logically can't be pursuaded, only interested.
some people say "well thousands of intelligent and respected people, and others, believe, so there must be a truth to it".
apart from all the lies and misconception and motives and lack of education in the world, even if you have a weird experience it can (and increasingly is) attributed to simply chemicals in your brain (drugs).
although people always claim that the drugs etc work by making your mind/brain/conosciousness more "in tune" to spirituality things....
really theres no physical evidence of it other than "someones experience" and "what we dont understand about quantum science".

He should do the things you listed but he should ALSO go seek treatment. Taking meds and having your sanity intact is far superior to going fullblown (psychiatric term lozl) schizophrenic or whatever.
The problem is that suggestions of meds and getting admitted usualy don't go over too well with people that are on the edge .
You wouldn't believe the shit my friend put us (his friends) through. I'm not blaming him, just saying its alot harder to "help" then you would think.

That's not true. My mom is severely bipolar and the long drawn out breakup with my father amplified it ten fold.
My mom is pretty religious, although she doesn't go around trying to convert people. She is just one of those people who believe in it 100% and reads a lot of material on angels and heaven and the bible etc.
Without going into to much detail what basically happened is she believed she was related with some second coming of christ and was walking around barefoot outside with bleeding feet for hours. With many other minor incidents like this happening all the time, she was admitted once or twice.
She's been on all different kinds of meds and the problem with the meds is they inhibit your thinking/focus and make you tired etc. etc. So she was at a huge crossroad. Do I A) take the meds that calm me down but ruin my being. or B) not take the meds and lose control anyways. She was constantly battling this and secretly not taking meds or taking them less that recommended. When this happened ofc it was clear to everyone because first it would start out with offhanded comments like "they are coming" or "it's ok we'll be saved", "I'll be crucified", in any random daily situation. Then she would eventually just start talking for hours about crazy shit. As an 11-15 year old kid whom she trusted (I think the only people she trusted were me and my youngest sister in the entire world) I naturally tried to help her but wasn't really capable (obviously). I tried hiding bibles and logically tried to argue with her for hours like every day to help her understand things were all in her head. In hindsight this may have actually been worse for her because it just got her thinking more deeply about things and riled her up on her tangents.
Long story short, her bouts of mania included delusions and shit. Her bouts of depression were entire days of just crying and laying in bed. I think what caused all the delusions tbh, is the fact that she consoled into the bible for help in her hard times and this lead into the mania when she got wrapped up into reading it.
Anyways, she finally is on some meds now that are working for her and she is one of the most selfless people I've ever known. So much so that it fucks her own life up financially being naive etc. But that is most definitely unrelated.
She takes care of my disabled grandma fulltime now.
She still occasionally confides comments to me usually blatant lies about "relative X is talking shit behind my back to grandma in there right now", when we are just outside.but with my fucked up family there is probably some truth to it. And sometimes she will just randomly say something like "burger king is terrible, the last time I ate there I was pregnant with you and sick for a whole day. Never eat at that place, it's evil". But I know this is complete bullshit because she's never mentioned it before and we've eaten at burger king tons of times. I just kinda laugh to myself and ignore it now.
Looking back at this now, it's a huge factor why I think religion is bad. But in it's defense, it could have been anything really to set her off since she has a chemical imbalance in her brain anyway. But the thing that was really fucked up is that the religious people are retarded as fuck and didn't realize she was going nuts and would hold these conversations with her and probably damage her more. Jahove's witness, mormons, catholics, and christians were regularly in our house talking with her.
The only good thing about religion is that it gives people hope, something to live for when they have nothing else. Bipolars are very often suicidal, being that my mom was religious she knew suicide was a one of the ultimate sins and never had any serious thoughts about it.

edit- I actually just now realized while writing this, that there was this time I was in trouble again in 9th grade. I was in the office and the entire office staff was showing concern towards me because I had been showing up more frequently in there and been truant more often. It actually felt like a physical assault with their interrogation onto me to where I just cracked and began to cry. I did not understand this at all, I never cry. In fact this is one of the last time I've ever cried. They were even more concerned now assuming the worst, (rape, molestation, etc.). I honestly didn't know why I was crying and they kept asking and I kept just saying 'I don't know', 'There is nothing wrong'.
I now realize that this breakdown was related to everything that was going on with my mom's illness and my parents separation. I still don't believe that I was affected by it like every other stupid kid you see in a TV show, but I'm sure there was something related. There has to be, there's no way around it with that kind of shit going on daily.
What's kind of fucked up about it, is that I don't think the staff ever called home to tell my parents or called police/social services to get to the bottom of it. They just took my word for it.

Ive always been very intrigued by the so common refusal to take meds because they feel "dull" under their effects, so its an incredibly shitty feeling or being crazy is not that bad for the crazy person.
