10/20NL hand

10/20 7handed at a private game. Games been goin on for about 12hrs and its about to break very soon. Alot of big pots here n there but there wasn't a SINGLE all in the whole night except my AK vs QQ. Half the money on the table is being runned by credit at this point. I have direct position on two clueless whale that has no idea how to play. lost a 4k all-in pf bvb vs his QQ he berated me for "over playing" AK and was tryin to teach me why its so bad. Left of me is extremely tough player who i knows that crushes 10/20NL+ online. He's been playing very lag with wide 3bet range that's been puttin me in alot of tough spots. For most part we've been pwnin the table and I've been giving him most pots vs him without much fight since i wasn't able to pick up any good situation and cards. He showed me his hands couple times when he won decent pot vs me and it seems like hes not gettin much out of line.

Whale min bets to $40 and whale2flats. I pick up black AA and squeeze to 240(I've been pretty active with squeezin vs the whales). Pro 4bets to 660. Folds to me and i hollywood for abit and make it 1800 he thinks for abit and calls. Now i'm thinking he was resqueezin and prolly has a wide range.

Flop comes 789 2diamond.
I check the flop and be bets 1200. I c/r to 4000. he thinks for a long time and goes all-in. It's about $11,000 more for me to call...


Btw I would be very sad if i lost 10k and if i fold id feel ok with 5k+ profit for the night. Would this make a difference in my decision? haha-_-

either c/c flop, c/r call shove or bet/reeval

U can't check raise to 4k in a 5bet pot with AA and fold.

i would check shove btw

i would reraise bigger PF since you are oop and super deep vs an expert AND scared money, as for the flop I think i would c/c and just pray for good turns+rivers, a check shove would still be too much of an overbet and wouldn't feel right imo

That's one deep game but I guess that's somewhat normal live. Can't c/r fold but I have no idea wtf you should do. Bet/shove? Might get a call or two from like overpairs and some weakish draws and I don't think we're superbad off against whatever range he can have either. Sucks that there are some straights out there. Seems like a weird flop for us to cbet with air though so maybe bet/soulread is a fair bit better then bet/shove. Do you think he feels that you're capable of 5betting stuff that actually hits this?

yeaaa that's what i wanted to hear =[ I'm being results oriented.
my plan was to check call. But he bet so small I couldn't help it but to put in a raise. I wasn't comfortable playing this big of a pot with AA. I called and he flipped over bottom straight. After the hand he told me he wouldve mucked if he was me on spot. I couldn't figure out if i'm getting leveld or I just suck.

i prob bet 1/3-1/2 pot on flop to induce a raise and get it in

there is no way cr'ing this flop is a profitable play with AA this DEEP against a laggy player

please explain to me what hands your going to get value from that your ahead of for 800bb after cr'ing this flop?

with shallower stacks this isn't a bad play against a laggy player, but this is borderline suicide against a good laggy player with 700bb to play for on the flop

sure if your 5b range is just AA then c/r flop probably sucks

but if your 7 bis deep and playing live and this is the case you arent monstering enough - he'll bet the flop because this is an awful flop for us, if he expects us to fold aa to a shove of course hes betting every time

assuming we show up on the flop with AKdd, AT, TT, Tx, AA, Axdd and some other random flush draws check shoving seems best by a ton

so yeah theonly way check shoving here is bad is if you only ever have AA here...and it shouldnt be when its live and some nobody is trying to shit on you all night

obv hate my self for taking c/r line and said fml in my head 10times while touchin my 10k chips for good 30sec before i said good bye

c/raise call shove is stnd imo.. impossible to fold. Though i can only see him doing it with AdKd or KK/QQ i think its impossible not to ship. Also almost impossible for him to have a set here(he would flat your c/r and most likely would have folded preflop).
