Elky going for first supernova

The past days of the new year Elky has been playing like crazy to become the first supernova on Pokerstars. Playing mostly 200 turbo s&g's/heads up and an occasional 100/500 turbo here and there. His last and final session is nearing 24 hours which definitely shows some of his dedication.

He's at 98,900 VPP right now and has made 218,000 FPP's since the first of January so there's practically no other way than for him to finish first. Much props to him.

He won't keep it up, it's been exceptionally intensive. Year seems realistic though :D

Yeah, I think 10+ hr. sessions 4+ tabling is way more impressive then 10+ hr. sessions of BW/war3 though. Maybe it's just b/c I am busier now but I used to frequently put in 10+ hr. gaming sessions, and have only hit 10+ hr. poker sessions few and far between. 20+ hr. sessions 8-tabling is mind boggling.

And Hallinggol couldn't compete with Elky because s&g's pay way more rake. If he had been playing s&g's higher than 200 (500/1000/5000 heads up, 500/1000 turbo) he'd get there even faster than Elky. Hallinggol plays insanely much you're right about that.

I thought the entry free had to be 1 buck in order to receive VPP or FPP? Plus for ring, you can gain a lot, but you must play higher limits.

5+.5 gets you 3 FPP as they round up which makes it pretty nice

Assuming you know about PS new VIP FPP points you get to diff levels the more VIP points you get. I think it goes:

Silver>Gold>Platinum>Supernova.

The more points you have the better the goodies you can buy are. You can get a Porsche at the Supernova level with enough points.

Supernova is the annual tier, the others are monthly.

Each "level" increases the amount of FPPs you generate and unlocks stuff in FPP store. The highest tiers have very nice stuff, besides the porche as well. 50" Plasma TVs etc. ;D

Getting to silver, gold etc. also gets you into freeroll tournies. I am really looking forward to the one on the 28th with 100k prize pool.

I actually already profited from these getting 4th in the first one they ran. Unfortunately only 2500 prize pool = 160 odd bucks to me lol.

Are you kidding?, its even faster than a 911, its a Boxer modifed engine by RUF, wich has an extreme low gravity center, and i think its MR instead of RR like most porsches.
