wtf it's even advertised on their website as starting tonight, i guess i'll just record all of them that are going to air.

I stopped watching poker shows cause its very uneducational but for this I break my rule.

i'm curious what people think about hellmuth.

do you guys actually think HE believes the things he says? his claim that he could make 1-2 million off ivey is just ludicrous. it's so hard to figure out if he's an actor or just a truly delusional person. i try and give him the benefit of the doubt and say hes an actor but he has to know that his spiel isn't going to stand the test of time when he keeps playing these games.

Alot of poker players are delusional.

i've met people like him before, he's completely serious.

I also give him the benefit of the doubt about acting. Its mostly just self-promotion and marketing himself; which is basically where all his money comes from. Celebrity status ranks higher than poker ability for him.

Like when he challenges Durrrr to HU games, he knows full well its never going to happen. A lot of poker smack-talk is like internet forum fights "If i ever saw you in real life id smash u in" etc. a lot of talk, rarely any follow through.

He can always just mention he has 11 bracelets or whatever.

Hes kind of immune to attack because of the bracelet thing, so now he just runs around looking/acting/sounding like a retard. Its a really wierd situation.

Hes talked about his "Poker Brat" persona before, and how he seperates that from Hellmuth. I actually think he has some quite serious problems, like one time he broke down and had a panic attack when he lost some money playing online and was "being hard on himself for losing"

That said, hes a fish magnet for poker, so... every cloud
