I really like Kara Scott as far as the way she comes off and everything but I still think it was much better with Benza.

Yeah I think the same. Anyone knows why they kicked him? I cant really imagine him being too expensive for this show... and Kara is not a co-host, she's just interviewing.

Trust me, I am a poker player.

coz they replaced him with Kara

i guess they decided just to let Kaplan hang out in the booth and put Scott out with the players.

I liked Benza/Kaplan, but this wasnt as bad. They arent too intrusive on players. I think analysis will be good, this weeks hand sucked coz Hellmuth is a nit.

Seems rather standard for being such an aggressive player as Dwan, specially 250bb deep where theres lots of playing room postflop. That flop hits durrrs range alot better than darios i would assume so hes ch/c is not just to spike an hearth obv hes planning on taking it away on later streets (if he had too)

And yeah having all the discussions in spoilers is fucking retarded, this is the HSP-thread should be pretty obvious that discussions about HSP is going on here... watch the show FIRST and then come here and read? I mean every regular on this forum should be able to know where to get the EPs without coming here and look for links...

Having this thread for the main purpose of announcing when a new EP is airing and putting out links seems like a waste, thats the #2 priority imo.

It's a little weird not hearing AJ's remarks about Gabe's jokes and the constant jabbering between the 2. Why not add Kara and keep AJ as well?

do you guys think that if hellmuth was willing to admit he wasnt that good and actually worked on his game that in the future he migt be a half decent cash game player?

For those of you that have played live high stakes is that pretty standard talking going on during hands? Sometimes it seemed kinda borderline on being to much. Does it vary just based on player make up, if no one says anything it's acceptable or is it some unwritten etiquette ?

I thought the same it was an odd silence after Gabe made a joke, he needs a sidekick like AJ or just keep AJ in the first place. I do like that you are able to here more of the player conversations but Gabe is not the same with out AJ imo.

ye kaplan definitely comes off more like an old crazy dude talking to himself when aj isnt there to laugh at his bad(but funny) jokes

what wackass site is this nigga?

Yea Id rather have AJ back, but I prefer to have Kaplan alone than with Russo like I read somewhere, fuck that. Not much going on this episode, the biggest hand was pretty standard. Im not sure I like how everybody ganged up on Helmuth, even the Norwegian guy preemptively trashed him for no reason, maybe Helmuth started it but they didnt show it, who knows.
Also is raszi playing next weeks ep? didnt see him in the preview.

I thought when Gus said something like, "I'll give 10 to 1 he doesn't raise" when Hellmuth was making a decision in that flush vs flush hand was pretty poor.
