yea but whatcha gonna do. You can only call with that many selected hands, and shipping it over, how many people can do that kind of move? And im sure while playing those kind of players durr is well balanced in this spot.

I'd bet that Dwan knew exactly what Jabba had. The min bet looks like a real apparent value bet. Dwan probably just thought he could get him off it, so he fired 22,000 into a pot that he only had 3,000 in. If Dwan's line was anything but check check check he probably would have won the pot easily so I think he played it very poorly.

Well I guess dwan didnt expect jabba to vbet k high there so he put him on a bluff and something that cant even bluffcatch, I think if he knew he had K high he wouldnt make this bluff as its pretty weird for an aggro player like him take such a trappy line, granted maybe he balances it well but somehow I doubt it.

also wow laak was cringing to watch this episode, i always thought he was a nit with some moves but that he was actually decent, now I just think he stinks.

i think its a common falacy that just because someone is very good they are balanced in spots like this, I think durrrr checks flop and turn with an A or J 0% of the time, whats a balanced river c/r range look like? he obv just saw the dude bet 2k, knew he had K high and wanted to overbet the pot hoping hed fold, wrong dude to bluff there obv.

i liked the episode and does anyone else notice the thing dario does with his mouth? its like a weird smile

It's really strange-looking. Every time he bets/raises, he does this freaky smirk

I am a NL25 player so take my advice/comments in that perspective

yes but how many hands can call him in this spot? Not that many, he just was unfortunate enough to run into a king.

he makes big bluffs on the river every tv show hes in
this one failed -> bash on him

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

i feel like this is dangerously close to hypothetical pour-out onto the previous streets, but keeping it on the river, if it were u playing durr and he would c/r you like that , you would be shipping over his c/r with most of ur range?

most people would just avoid the spot overall, becauase you dont want to start playing that kind of games with Dwan

i dont know, and situation is so highly hypothetical im sure it would never arise against a player who is actually capable of overshoving as a bluff. But im sure if it could durr would care to balance his range! Or make you htink he did

I can explain Dario's smirk.

When I first played in a live game, a friend gave me the advice "just think about sex when you bet, then they won't know if you are bluffing or not."

with his previous bluffs and stuff relatively working his way i was starting to wonder if he wasnt that bad, but after seeing his ridiculous A8o limp/call of that huge raise and later go into the sickest stationary mode ever its amazing this guy is such a massive (literally) donkey
