For those of you that have played live high stakes is that pretty standard talking going on during hands? Sometimes it seemed kinda borderline on being to much. Does it vary just based on player make up, if no one says anything it's acceptable or is it some unwritten etiquette ?
I thought when Gus said something like, "I'll give 10 to 1 he doesn't raise" when Hellmuth was making a decision in that flush vs flush hand was pretty poor.
Agreed and although I don't condone it, Gus may have been calling Phil out as a result of timebankshowboatfolding air a little too often when he otherwise has no intention of doing anything else. For instance the bankfold earlier with AJo vs Ivey's 4bet ship. 1 out of 10 might be generous odds on how often Phil actually calls/raises light after showboating with something marginal and harping on for 5 minutes about how he might make a thin call or raise for value with less than the nuts.

He seemed tired from the beginning, tried to build up a super tight image and was just unlucky that Ivey had a strong hand/owned him.
I agree that he frustrated himself by playing super tight and used the image way too soon so Ivey saw right through him, but it simply wasn't his day.
I liked his play in the last hand, although iso raising Ivey with his hand really is over valuating your own skill, but thats just Hellmuth.
And I loved his decision to quit despite losing TV time and laughter of the internet kids, that was an awesome decision in my eyes.
To sum Hellmuth, I think we all know that he is not on the level of half the table and never will be, but within his standards it was a good performance.
93% Sure!

Ived did get some sick cards tho, Hellmuth didn't play all that bad, to his defence.
But it's still funny to see him leave so soon. GL raszi!

Is mineri luckexpress? Just taking a wild guess here. Also it seems like the live players have adjusted to the loose agros by making spewy plays haha.

Hellmuth is a self proclaimed best poker player when actually he s the fish in those games so he deserves to be pushed around 24/7 for anything possible

Yeah, I loved Durrrr's ten words or less about Phil. I know people like to watch Phil embarrass himself, but I squirmed uncomfortably to watch Phil on himself in ten words or less. He's just so oblivious to how much he (accurately) makes himself look like an idiot.
'[Phil is] trying to think what range of hands Dario would raise Dwan with...' NO, Gabe. Phil does not understand the concept of ranges.
Someone should stake Gabe to play HU with Phil.
Until seeing this, I had been ambivalent about AJ leaving. Now I think the producers made a great decision. I think having someone with no understanding of poker in the booth doesn't really add anything, especially when Gabe not only has a reasonable understanding of poker, but he's also an entertainer in his own right. And I think you have to give him props: it can't be easy to put on a show when you're alone in a booth with no one reacting to you.

I think Hellmuth done well by not being rude to anyone considering how bad he run. Cut the guy some slack lol.
