I think it was from Sapiens but the idea that every tribe of humans > 300ish people needs stories and myths to make them work together, because there's too many for you to intimately know and gossip with all of them. So people in giant wall street firms wear expensive suits and walk around in fancy, expensive offices and drink fancy cocktails with each other after a long hard day of consulting magical chart patterns. All the people of wallstreetbets need to unite as a tribe and pool their money is a bunch of 0$ shitposts and memes and rocket icons. It's actually way more efficient if you think about it. I believe Michael Burry of The Big Short fame actually followed this guy on GME. This is the guy who found out Melvin was 136% short on GME at like $2 or $4 in I believe 2019. That is r/wsb lore anyways and he is deeply beloved there. Last time I checked he was up to like a $50million+ position in GME.
