I dont remember seeing fights with so much betting value in a while, easy bets on Ronda, Werdum, Cruz and TJ

agreed with this. Except maybe for TJ fight. I think -250 is about right.

I would definitely lean towards Garbrandt. Even though I understand his style matches up very poorly with Cruz's.
With these odds, his hunger, Cruz's injury, and the levels.
I think Cruz uses psychology a lot to outwit his opponents, and I think Garbrandt might not think enough for Cruz to feint him the way he does with others. Hes more instinctual and animalistic, to where his movement games might just not work.

The thing is, Cruz's technical striking is most likely superior to Cody.
Cruz will also most likely mix in TDs to win rounds and keep Cody guessing.

Cody does have legit power, but Cruz has never been KO before, and this is 135.

Isn't that exactly why Cruz's style works? He can condition his opponents to react a certain way to his attacks/feints. He also uses his feints to read his opponent's reaction. If Garbrandt doesn't catch on to what Cruz is doing, then he falls right into the trap. Fighters have to be able to intelligently pick things up during the fight and adjust if they want to beat Cruz. If someone is relying on bullrushes and lucky shots to beat their opponent, I don't see how anyone can expect them to beat an extremely cerebral fighter like Cruz.

Exactly, you dont counter an intelligent fighter by being stupid.

That is what Cruz does, he gets you to react instinctively to his moves and he capitalizes, Garbrandt is drawing dead and I cannot believe these odds, he hasnt beat anybody

Maybe that's the case. Thanks for the opinions. I'll lay off Garbrandt.

JDS agreed to step-in for Cain, but Fabricio Werdum turned him down. There was news about Cain might not being able to fight 2+ days ago, and JDS even said he'd take the fight on short notice.

Still a decent card, but unless Werdum accepts the fight with JDS, we'll have a 10-fight card.

I keep it simple in women's mma.

Whoever fights "manlier" wins.

Nunes by murdering Honda into permanent retirement.

Honda's previous opponents were shit, build-up fights and the first time she encounters a decent striker she gets her head caved in.

Lol I guess I'm not the only one that sees this. #lolronda

Nunes will punch a hole through honda's face and obliterate that mole into oblivion....

The fact that Holm dismantled Rousey is making people forget that the female division is crap and Rousey would trample anyone who isnt Holly or Cyborg, nothing has changed, Amanda is no exception.

Ronda will find the clinch and submit her, I dont think this fight goes past the 2nd round.

Isnt there a lot of variance in this? That Rousey fight she lost was all about literally one kick that landed. Rest of the fight she was just still put off balance by that one hit.

93% Sure!

He's saying there is a lot of variance in a fight, and that Holm won because of a lucky kick that changed the tide of the fight.

But i disagree, i think Holm dominated that fight hard.

it wasnt a lucky kick.

Spitfiree   Bulgaria. Dec 26 2016 13:19. Posts 9634

wasnt a lucky kick plus Holm controlled every inch of the octagon and movement, Rousey did not do a single thing that fight, didn't even manage to land a TD, as far as i remember Holm stopped all of the attempts, one of the fights that had the least variance imo, I cant imagine Rousey having to grasp for a straw harder than that
