i do the same thing with FD/DK. My FD ROI throughout the NBA season was >20%, my DK ROI was probably about 7%.

it's not that i hate thompson, but that extra salary spent makes a large difference in who else you can afford, and mozgov is not ownable. i agree i wanted 5 bulls as well, but just sacrified taj and went tjones. actually even 6 bulls would have been nice, dunleavy was ownable yesterday, but i just went barnes over him to prevent too many bulls. not sure i will be able to do that next game if he is coming off the bench again.

will take a closer look in a bit, but just checking FD now i found a lineup i like within ~2 mins, which is a first for me. maybe Wall will decide to play and ruin it. lot of cheaper value plays i like but can't use because i'd end up leaving a billion dollars on the table.

DK seems a lot trickier with their current pricing. Bazemore still a decent option for Util or something?

i checked one of my contests and saw i had the same lineup as you except for 1 player and i was like 'sweet, gonna make some money tonight' (i just make 1 lineup for all my entries). unfortunately that player was Redick instead of Shumpert, thought i was gonna be fucked after first game. still cashed all my entries except for one though, just had to sweat it out a little longer. i dont know why i didnt take Shumpert this time, i think in my mind it went something like: CP3 doesn't have restricted minutes any more, felt it was a toss-up between him and Rose tonight at FD's prices but went with Rose because he'd been consistent up to tonight and allowed me to afford an overall lineup i like better, and i took Redick as a way to get exposure to CP3's added minutes since he benefits from them.

i dunno if you made more than 1 lineup but the one i'm referring to is

dont really know what happened in the 4th quarter, kinda blacked out due to cognitive dissonance of wanting the clippers to win (i live in socal) and wanting my team with all of the rockets guys that were low owned to do well, but smith/brewer/dwight just started blasting at the end and nearly won all the gpps.


with regards to your thinking on redick, i think you are on the right page. redick just seems to do much better with a healthy cp3. i just really like shumperts minutes in the playoffs and he seems to get more ancillary stats than redick does (assists, boards, steals, blocks) and is less reliant on scoring to do well. i didnt really consider going cp3 on FD since he was such a better price on DK, but I liked him a lot tonight and i saw some really sharp guys go him so maybe that was correct.

I know that its Basketball/Baseball for Daily Fantasy, and Football (NFL) is around 4months away, but I was wondering if anyone was planning on playing some NFL fantasy, and perhaps interested in maybe collaborating some line ups/ideas, etc.

It's only going on my second year doing daily fantasy, but I've learned a shit ton about it since then. For the first few weeks I plan on doing nothing but GPP's.. The fields I feel like majority will be much softer, much more of your casual players etc.

First week I plan on going 20x of the $27, and see where that takes me and reevaluate.

If anyone though would like to share ideas, talk football, or anything like that, feel free to PM me or whatever.

I think this is the new poker, and I don't think this will last nearly as long before everyone is good @ it.
