yeah i know i can't have an edge on a 2-game slate, just hard to resist throwing a $1 out there for the sweat on probably my favorite sport.

do you not play hockey due to lack of interest or because you think the possible edge isn't worth your time? (i know it's the playoffs now, but referring to the regular season as well)

i dont play hockey because it completely overlaps NBA and i already get 5k+ of buyins in a day. learning it would be too hard/time consuming while playing NBA every day i think.

will give baseball a few more weeks and if i dont turn it around or see any progress im gonna quit and go back to poker until NFL starts

I think Daut would go crazy if he tried to learn hockey, then tried to incorporate his newfound knowledge into hockey fantasy teams. NBA, MLB, and NFL is a lot to keep track of, not counting poker + whatever life he has away from the computer. For fantasy games, I only focus on MMA and NHL, but even with NHL I have to skip it sometimes cuz I'm also a full-time student, so it's hard to actually watch the games when you have a ton of books to read.

hmm FD has Tues+Wed NBA games, 6-game slate should be worth an entry.

too bad i suck as well basically trying to learn as much as i can from the pros atm. I had failkuma tonight as well. Still think he was the best choice. And det seemed like good stack tonight as well. the 2 padres u wanted crushed though. Seemed like norris was everyone's favorite play tonight

One thing i noticed in my mlb gpps. pretty small sample but everytime i stack a team i put up a decently high score . Usually 35+ which is not enough to ever win the gpp but usually enough for me to cash in a 50/50. Wonder if i should just switch strats and just start stacking in cash instead.

One of my teams cashed, so I only lost -$1. I don't care about the dollar because the Ducks advanced! They shitted on the Jets like I knew they would.

Anyway, I only had two beers and I'm tipsy for some reason. I'll skip tomorrow's matches and focus on Friday.

I have Zuccarello in both of my teams today, and he was playing well prior to getting injured...
Hopefully I can at least break even. My 2nd team has mostly St. Louis Blues players in it, and that game hasn't started yet.

Early update: I have 1 player in both teams who only played for 1 period before getting injured. I also have 2 players in my remaining team who aren't doing much and are sitting out for the rest of the game afaik. So, both of my teams lost. I didn't get close to cashing today.

I'm gonna skip the next 2-3 days and wait for Round 2 to start. The Ducks will be resting up until then, while everyone else plays a 5-7 game series in the 1st Round.

aww put up my highest FD mlb score today(70pts) but didn't have it in any gpps only 50/50s. *cries*

damn. i haven't played any DFS for a few days, been pretty busy and don't want to hop back into baseball until i get a better clue about the game. 50/50's still going well?

i read something about people buying a bunch of the same lineups (or getting them free from twitter) that aren't necessarily optimal, but better than what a fish casual-fan would make and good enough to make it tougher to beat the rake. i'm sure there's still edge to be had, but have you noticed this at all?

I wouldn't say going well lol. Winning a bit more from the only losing in the beginning. Still learning i guess. I know it says it everywhere u read but pitchers seem to make or break your roster. If they don't do well its so hard to win. I seem to bubble most 50/50's. I'll let you know how it goes after this week. Although im finally returning to my real job too so prob less volume.

I will say though i love that their is always value somewhere in baseball. I'm guessing that has to do with the fact that stars dont produce consistently either. I was really lucky with that 70pt game btw. Pitcher rocked and had 3 hr on my team and no - pts at all from anyone. ( which is rare for me at least)

at my book, there is a prop for which draft position Gurley will be taken and they give +/- 14.5 as an option. Currently the under is at -150 for me which ive laid a couple of units on.

I know who he is, online anyway. He is one of the regulars who gambles on MMA every week in the same thread I'm in. Like I said, I don't know about NFL, so I dunno if his info is any good or not.

Not sure which book he uses. Probably 5dimes or Bookmaker.

forgot to post but i played last night's NBA slate because i'm a degen, won on DK and broke even on FD. guessed wrong on the Center options and played Lopez in most of my lineups, but otherwise did ok.

they lowered the min price on FD players to 2k tonight =O
