entered a lineup on DK, tried entering FD but couldn't make up my mind and entry locked before I could register lol =[ (obviously didn't play the Thurs. game)

i didn't know what to do with the Gates MCL sprain but decided to leave him out

i have:

QB - Cam
RB - Gurley
RB - Woodhead
WR - Hopkins
WR - TY Hilton
WR - Decker
TE - Kelce
Flex - Olsen
DST - Rams

only my second week playing NFL but i think i like DK a lot more than FD for this sport (fuck kickers lol). lineups did well in the couple 50/50s i entered last week, prob luck since i'm still a newb to NFL lineup construction/scoring.

with Cam at QB your Flex should be Olsen and your TE last week should have been Ladarius Green in most line ups - he gets 4-5 catches a game +Gates out.

Do not build teams around 2 tight ends. if need be use cheaper running backs as your flex. They are almost as cheap and can get x2-x3 points than a TE often!

Cam is good - just make sure u get his biggest target on the team (Olsen)

I build my teams like this - Brady, Gronk, Build. matt ryan, jones, build. ryan, jones, freeman build. depending on the team. teams with brady gronk and edelmen, do 1 with brady and 1 with edelmen.

You always wanna stack a QB with a catching RB (Woodheadish) or WR/TE

your line up looks good just a lil off

heres my highest scoring one this week before monday (lots of Palmer/Fitzgerald)

In this line up, I should have a line-up with gronk in it here, and didn't and paid for it.
Hurns or Bryant or someone like that to take edelmens place and the TE Trade up would have been worth it big time.

Olsen is a machine beast btw but theres way better value tight ends (but play him w/ cam)

btw picking brady + edelemen vs NYJ defense is logical since everyone else overlooked them i get points they dont and skyrocket if they have a great duo at 4% and 3% ownership.

i did have Olsen on my team neilly not sure if you saw based on your comment. you're right though definitely should have had Ladarius Green and probably numerous other mistakes too, i didn't even start with a lineup until 5 mins before lock though. seems like Latavius Murray and Stefon Diggs are also guys i should've at least considered more.

keep in mind i only play 50/50s (no GPP) so i don't care about finding low ownership %. when i was doing my lineup the main thing i was trying to decide was between Newton and Palmer at QB. unfortunately looks like i made the wrong choice there, but regardless i'm still going to cash unless a couple people behind me get their Monday night QB+WR combo to go off for 80+ pts.

Stone has a sick lineup going in the million; near perfect so far I believe. Need big things from Palmer and Floyd.

Are stacks usually taking down the GPPs these days? With one guy entering the same lineup 8 times to swoop spots 1-8 or 3-10 or whatever

Sigh... stacked my team with guys from 2 different teams. Both teams scored a lot, but my guys weren't the one's doing the scoring. (lower level players did the scoring)

i'm not sure if a 3-game slate is meant to be playable, but i'll be playing it because:

a) opening night
b) some NFL fans who don't normally follow NBA much will probably try it out
c) there's quite a few injuries, should create some value vs people not monitoring player status

i made a last-minute pivot from Butler+NateRob to Williams+Korver, not sure how i feel about it.

DK lineup is different, i guess i'll post it later since they have late swaps.

Hopefully your night starts out better than mine. Barely any goals are being scored tonight for all teams. Hopefully this means I can score big with my guys who play later today.

Today is a fucking joke...

Anaheim = one of the worst teams this season thus far; they haven't been able to score any goals; they lost their captain/star player today due to an emergency operation; they're facing one of the highest scoring teams thus far in the season who are ranked #6; What's the score after the 1st period is over? Anaheim leads 3-0.

Columbus = one of the 3 worst teams this season; they give up a ton of goals every game; they're facing a middle of the road team who can score a lot; What's the final score? Columbus 3-1.

Edmonton = ranked #23 out of 30 teams; they're facing a team who is undefeated at home; what's the score halfway through the game? 2-2.

I have the other side in all 3 of these games, which means I'm fucked because none of my guys are scoring, and it's opposite day, in that the shitty teams are upsetting the better teams.

The only plus side is that I already know I can't win any money today, so I don't have to waste the next 4 hours sweating the games.

What I do is, prior to the start of the first game, I click Edit and then highlight the entire list of names, teams, price, etc. When you paste it on LP, it has a bunch of weird spaces, but it will adjust and look normal after you submit your post.

Edit: if you copy/paste after the games have started, you will get a bunch of extra shit that you have to delete. DK needs to find a legit way to share a team list, like a special URL for each team you make that is directly linked to your account.

6 of the 10 games today had the losing team either score 1 goal or less, which means that there's a lot of people not scoring points tonight, which also means that I have a chance to make my money back. For example, I have 2 teams, and 1 of those teams has 70 PMR (player minutes remaining) and I'm already in the money, even though 2 of my guys scored zero points today. I have another team with double the amount of time left and is also currently in the money.

What's saving me is Dallas. They went 0-3 in the first period against Anaheim, then scored 3 goals in the 2nd period to tie it up 3-3, and 2-3 of my guys got points on each of those goals. Also, my defender who I have in both teams scored 9.5 points thus far, which is massive for a any player, let alone a defender.

Cool, will try that tomorrow. Cant really talk about hockey since i have no clue about that.
Also had bets on CHI-4 and Love under 16,5 PTS of course Love scores 8 PTS in the last minute to kill both of those
