Who is Dan Bilzerian?

Not active around poker scenes a much as before but I came across this guy recently:

If his pics etc are not fake, which I don't think they are. Financially, he seems to be doing as good as some of the top pros like Ivey or Dwan in terms of poker income.

But I couldn't find any info on his online names etc. I was also very surprised that I didn't find any post about him here?!! Is he full of shit about making his money from poker?

I don't understand why people are required to donate a shit ton of money to a charity. In their will, sure. But he's worth 100 mill, not 2 billion. I totally agree all the *real* rich rockstars should be more philanthropic in general, but to automatically assume everyone worth 10 mill+ that doesn't donate a "large" % of their net worth is a scumbag? He doesnt illegally uses his wealth, it was acquired illegaly by his father, and yeah he "showcases" his life style, we already stablished that he is an egocentrical edonist.

What his dad stole was a little bit over 100M if I remember correctly, he is definitelly not a billionare, the planes, choppers and boats are all rented and that money wont last decades at this pace for sure

And yes, I can agree that many guys who are "hating" on this guy are doing it out of jealousy. I also believe that a lot of people engaged on FB / instagram are doing the same thing just way less entertaining - and I don't part-take in either. I have no problems accepting that he prolly has more interesting stories and funny, fucked up experiences in the past year - hell, probably month- than most people can rack up in a lifetime. But personally? I'm happy about my lack of heart attacks, and I'm happy that I'm actually able to derive happiness from sitting at home petting my dog playing TBS games while my wife is giving me a hug while standing behind me. It might not be as good of a gif as throwing a naked 19 year old off a rooftop, but I genuinely believe it is a better life.

Money has no owners.

Say what you will but the bottom line is he has options. Money provides that. I can't imagine him crying himself to sleep. What you may believe sufficient money wise or ethically right is to some extent subject to change come tens and hundreds of millions.

Let me be clear and honest, if I have an hour of time left I actually rather watch or hear a story about a day in Dan's life than some TED presentation. But if I have to live it myself, then my preference is the other way around. I actually had friendship with the hot model girl type. It is REALLY REALLY REALLY painful. I think that if a knife thrower just like, practiced for 15 minutes and was like yeah I'm pretty accurate lets try with a real person then they would really be a douchebag even if it was the person flinching's fault after being hit. I mean just based on the results it seems to me like they definitely didn't practice this long enough for it not to be douchy?

I agree with people about the money, its his and he can do whatever he wants. Money is just a form of energy, and the more of it will just lead you faster towards self destruction (if thats your current happiness) or more towards joy (if you truly deeply like yourself).
