I would've loved to see Diaz fight Koscheck/Mcdonald/Shields. GSP would embarrass him for sure if he can't handle that kind of strict gameplan from Condit.

Judge Patricia Morse Jarman had it: 10-9, 10-9, 9-10, 10-9, 10-9 for Condit.
Judge Junichiro Kamijo had it 10-9, 9-10, 10-9, 10-9, 9-10 for Condit.

Only rounds all the judges agreed on were 1 and 4 for Condit.

He's always been saying he would switch to pro boxing. With his no fear brawl style I'm sure Cotto Margarito etc will welcome him with open arms.

If anyone cares according to the UFC website condit had 154 total hit strikes vs the 104 total hit strikes from diaz. Diaz had 1 takedown to condit's 0.

That fight actually made me kinda sad. Carlos finished 26 out of 27 of his wins or something. I would've never guessed he would run away the entire fight and try to land couple small shots -> escape. It feels like he tried to "play the game" because there's so much on the line for him... He even said in the post conference that he was just doing what his coaches told him to do and avoided direct confrontations/stay in the pocket.

Nick is one of my favorite fighters because he always brings it. But during his win streak, he always fought people that were willing to fight back. The problem for him in the UFC is that he was probably going to lose to guys that will only try to "play the game" like GSP/Kos/Fitch and maybe even lesser wrestlers.

I guess this is where the argument that MMA is a sport and not an actual fight makes a lot of sense. Guys that are willing to play the game instead holds such a massive edge.

You're absolutely nuts if you actually believe Nick Diaz sucks. I'd comfortably take Nick Diaz over anyone in the division in a must-finish bouts or Pride rules with 10 minute rounds and judging determined by whoever got closer to actually finishing or showed willingness to finish.

diaz sucks cos he didn't adapt. all he did was being lame.

He doesn't suck, but he's in the wrong sport if he expects people to just brawl with him each time, hell even in boxing this happens. Maybe Condit felt he couldn't beat him in a brawl that's why he went for the "W" instead. Too much of a whiny, entitled fighter to earn my respect tbh.
