personally when i see a white person get a tattoo in an asian language i think that they are doing it to look 'cool' and 'unique' yet so many people do it, it is neither.

Try doing it in the font 'wingdings' or something. No one ever does that!

well my main motivation for not wanting it in english is cuz i dont want ppl to know what it means more or less, not cuz i think the letters look cool. the symbols do look crazy in those languages tho . any advice on what else i could do?

I think it would be the best idea to visit a studio and just talk to person that will be doing it? It's a lifetime decision, so I wouldnt base it on a opinion of internet forum.

It's never fails to make me laugh when I see Korean letter tattoos. It might look cool if you don't actually understand the language but it looks silly to ppl that do.

get a tattoo of an ace of spades on the inside of your forearm IMO

on a serious note, you should be careful when you're using english sayings cuz the meaning might get lost in translation. I mean my chinese is pretty shitty but when I try to directly translate Happiness comes from within into chinese it makes no sense.

Don't get it in some other language because the letters look cool. If you're going to get a saying and want it to look good too either have it be a part of a work of art or do it in a language that has meaning. I'd go with the art part because I can't think of a language that really exemplifies happiness and you really don't need a big work of art to add detail to the phrase.
