so like 2 years ago i decided to teach myself how to play piano

took college classes about a year into that

play about an hour a day, maybe more

and i still consider myself as sucking ass

and yeah i know theory and scales and all that mumbo jumbo

BTW i listen to rap music more than anything (and probably more than anyone hear) so does that mean i don't "love" music because some don't even consider rap music

if it is mostly the only thing you care for in music, then yes, you don't love music as a whole, you love rap mostly and enjoy some other music. does that not make sense to you?

music is great, there are so many variations it is overwhelming

people who say they love it without knowing 99.9%+ of it in fact hate music without realizing it.

and they are much bigger assholes than I am for stating that they love it in the first place than I am for stating that they don't

ok i saw this late. but I bought an acoustic guitar and it had instructional dvd. The dvd starts u off by playing open notes E A D in that succesion u should learn to finger each chord correctly, place fingers close to teh fret (metal bar) to get the clerest sound. then learn to transition from chrod to chord. Strum each chrod 8 times go E A D A E repeat till u got it down perfectly. basically just use this with all chords pick 3 chords or 4 mixing minor and major chords and finger them correctly then learn to transition. thats as much as i can tell u right now. ive never touched a guitar in my life i just saw this part of teh dvd 5 mins long and withing 1 hour i had a decent understanding i kept practicing 1 hpour a day and in about 10 days i could play .45 by Shinedown. Vid or tit didnt happen right?

btw u can find chord charts on the net, and song tabs in google site is called ultimate guitar or something liek that

i never said you had to know 99.9% of a certain thing in order to really love it, I didn't say it was a prerequisite to know 99.9% of music I thought it was obvious enough that it meant you did not love it if you loved only 0.01% of it as a whole...

thats pretty good jorge for 1 and a half week of playing but why put it on youtube already

take some time to practice your songs before uploading them people!

for most people nothing will beat getting a good teacher, at least in the beginning
