yea 7ptbb/100 is def. doable at 1/2NL but it will be quite hard because he also needs to play 100,000 hands in 2 months, so basically he needs to be at least 4 tabling and then he needs to play like 5 hours a day on average.

i would take a 1:1 prop bet up to $500 if u want soon2b.

and PS: i kind of like it that u will be off of ventrilo for 2 months, since ur sending a page constantly and playing loud music while i play a session is kinda annoying

I will just be off during sessions. No worries, I will still be on when I am drunk

Which reminds me, if any of you guys catch me playing while drunk, thats $100 to you as well.

Karma you should realize theres a HUGE difference in 4bb/100 and 7bb/100....

Actually i dont think anybody currently has 4bb/100+ longterm winrate on 200nl SH on stars... not sure on FullTilt wich is fishier.

Anyway ill take the bet with some of those friends but i said ONLY if there is a middle man.

Baal, please do not take any offense to this, but what stakes do you play? Of course there are 4ptbb winners on stars. I am fairly certain there are a few 7ptbb+ winners on FTP. 1/2 NL is really not that hard. Also, this is not the first time I have played 1/2. I have played all the way up to 5/10. 1/2 is qutie easy compared to these levels. People at these levels still have tons of leaks which are very exploitable.

The only reason 7ptbb would not be attainable for me would be if I tilt(trying to eliminate all things that cause me to tilt). I generally dont tilt at 1/2 because the money does not affect me like the money at 2/4 does.

Or, if I did happen to run like ass for 100k hands, which is possible.

I know 4-7 is a big jump Baal, but if he runs reasonably well and plays less tables (Table selection obv) I'm sure he can maintain it. I mean you don't need to be an amazingly loose or creative player or whatever, there's plenty of fish and not many good regs. I was playing like 18/14/3 stats so semi nitty

Here's a few who I think might be able to do it with 4 or less tables and running decent who I saw on stars 1/2nl when I was playing late last yr: dont_bother, smellmuth, rotterdaum, snakekilla88, mr larry (or something), lukieplaya, jonnycosmo(!), taqtix(!), chekstak, dcal_zone and this guy who had a picture of a bunch of carrots whos name I can't remember

I know most of those guys are currently playing higher

exactly, I am glad someone realized this. Why the fuck would someone play 1/2 permanently.

And karma hit it spot on, snakekilla88, dont bother, carrotsnake, and snowbank are the best 1/2 regs that still dip into that game. Most have moved up. I am pretty sure any good 2/4+ reg could smash 1/2 for 7ptbb+.

Honestly dude, I think you are just talking out your ass. If you didnt see my statement before, I have played up to 5/10. Its not like I am just now moving up to 1/2 and stating I can make 7ptbb. I believe I have the necessary skills to hit that winrate over 100k hands.

The whole reason I am doing this is for a few reasons

1) To motivate myself
2) To learn what grinding is
3) To have a very solid bankroll for 2/4, 3/6 when I am done, big enough to where the money doesnt affect me like it does right now.
4) To learn not to tilt
5) To clean up any leaks I may still have
and some more

I am doing the prop bet to simply add motivation to this goal

Snowbank is an absolute nit and im up on him either on 1/2 and 2/4
Carrotsnake is a tiltmonkey donator and im up quite a lot on him
Dontbother0 is a mini-twincaracas and im up even with him
Rotterdaum (BBM) is a decent player still i dont think he has an overall standins over 4ptbb/100, and im even with him
havent played much with smellmuth, we play at different times
SnakeKilla is good and sadly im down him him because he is such a ridiculous lucksack against me
dcal_zone lol
lukie_playa lol
johnny cosmo lol
Taqtix standard tag post on lp, im up on him

Personally i dont think any of them can sustain 7ptbb/100 over 100k hands unless they run good like some of them did like SnakeKilla

What is your stars name? I would like to know who you are.

You realize dontbother0 is zappyb, right? Honestly, I could care less what you are up or down vs these guys. I am up around 2.5k vs cts from 2/4 and 3/6. Does that make me better than him? Not even close. Did I maybe run better than him at times? Sure. Did I play better than him in a hand or 2, certainly. I am by no means better though.

Who cares if someones a nit at 1/2. Maybe thats why people like you cant sustain 7ptbb+? Honestly, you do not need a lag image to get paid off at 1/2. Also, pre flop is quite irrelevent in general. People focus way to much on how they play preflop. The only affect preflop play has on the games is it can add alot more variance(the stars 3/6 game for example). Post flop play is what matters.

I will tell you that I found the stars game to be slightly tougher than the FTP game, but it also plays quite differently.

You saying lukieplaya is lol just shows how much you are talking out your ass. Straate, tom, and other plays that I am sure are much better than you, and myself, all agree he is an extremely solid player.

I am nearly 100% certain most of those guys could maintain 7ptbb with exception of cosmo, dcal_zone, and maybe rotterdaum(although I think he probably could). Snakekilla could, carrot can and has(aside from his tilt problems, heh), and I am fairly certain snowbank has. I actually just asked snowbank and he said it ranges between 7-10. He also said he would drop down stakes for a month if you guys would like a prop bet with him.

You need to realize that most people tend to move up when beating a game like 1/2 for 7ptbb+. Why wouldnt they? Thats why there are not many 1/2 regulars now with 7ptbb+, because the good ones move up.

I have 10k hands down so far. Once I get my roll back to comfortable levels, I will have 0 problem with an escrow, and I would like to get this prop bet set in stone, for those that are still interested. PM me or hit me up on AIM at shb1024

His id is baalim.

Winrate depends a lot on game selection and how many tables you play. More accurate number is $/hour. Most of these guys you mentioned would def. not be able to maintain 7ptbb/100 over a large sample size playing many tables. Although the 1/2 game is not extremely hard it's nothing like the old partypoker days where players could 12table and basically nit it up getting >5ptbb/100.

Datamined stats for 1/2nl stars 6m last dec. 3 players from top20 most hands played have >4ptbb/100. Only one above 5.3(heater sup).
