All shits aside mousasi looked great. The knee should be ilegal imo because if your intention is to lift while kneeing there is a risk of u missing the lift but getting the knee right?

he was hollywoodin' it a bit too hard, holdin' his forehead constantly actin all disoriented and shit, knee wasn't even that hard and didn't land clean. oversold it to the judges and it backfired on him which is why he was really pissed lol

You guys weren't watching when Weidman kept telling the them he was fine? He said he was fine a few times, and then responded to them saying he was fine an additional time when they asked him how he was feeling.

Mousasi looked good in Round 2, which is when Weidman slowed down. Weidman spent a lot of energy in R1 going for take downs.

As for the knees, they changed the rules a bit in 2017. Both hands need to be touching the ground, or 1 knee needs to be touching the ground for it to be illegal. People used to put 1 fingertip on the ground to act like a grounded opponent, but that doesn't fly anymore.

The knee was legal, but the way the fight ended was bullshit.

had he stood up after the legal knee ref would've made sense of it all instead he raised the stakes to a point where it was a DQ or a point deducted in his favor
