Mousasi because he's weird and he's starting to win lately and Weidman is going the opposite direction, just basing on momentum which is huge in MMA. AJ just because Cormier is older and body is falling apart (gassing in the last couple of fights)

i dont see it that way. weidman is reallt desperate for this win and that could give him the edge. and at this point, mousasi could be slightly overrated? dunno... but theres def value on weidman than there is on mousasi imho.

cormier is just too relentless for rumble. between him and rumble at the current lines. im for cormier. give way better odds for rumble then im there.

I dont like mousasi but I dont like weidman

*he's been champ already, legacy as silva killer cemented
*he seems to be unable to "win", more to do with luck
*wear and tear from rockhold, yoel, some overtraining talk
*post-usada weidman aint too hot ive noticed
*hes fighting desperate and it only works out in the movies


Last fight of cormier was terrible vs Silva. Maybe he was too risk averse but Rumble's only fault was cardio and DC is ooolder now

Mousasi fights smart but Weidman is really solid and complete he can go from striking to takedowns in this fight. Also Weidmans last two fights were not dominant, he got submitted by rockhold in a competitive fight and got brutally Ko by Romero but before that it was also competitive, I am really confident on that bet.

The fight between Cormier and Jhonson, IMO, is going to be very similar to the first fight. Only chances for Jhonson is KO within the first two rounds and then Cormier will dominate.

I bet 50 bucks on each one.

Weidman looking insane shape as I posted earlier. Muscular and lean as fuck, but he's also looking a little sucked it. Hopefully he isn't having trouble with his weight cut.

DC definitely looking a bit rough. I think things are lining up for the Rumble win. Though I wouldn't bet on it, still think DC should be the favorite.

DC looks fine to me.

DC has a beard this time, which makes him look older and homely. Also, he is more talkative this time, and is focused on getting inside Rumble's head, which may or may not be working (the UFC is doing a good job st making it seem like DC is in his head, but they're good at editing).

Weight wise, both guys look fine and said today they're both 10 pounds away from making the 205 pound limit.

Also, expect Rumble to look amazing on the scale when compared to DC. The latter guy is shorter and never has any muscle definition, and looks semi round in his belly. DC's core is where his strength is at, not his chest or arms.

Not much has changed since the last fight between DC and Rumble, I think there is a lot of value on DC

Ehh It almost feels to me like DC called Rumble pre Media stuff even began for UFC210 and told him something like " Listen im gonna trash talk you hard so we can sell more PPVs" or something like that... whole "getting into his head" part seems so fake. Then again Rumble is the only one that can beat DC in this division at the moment, so he might feel too secure and fame might've gotten into his head.

At the moment, Pearl Gonzalez has been pulled from her fight by the New York commission for having breast implants (no joke). The UFC hasn't officially cancelled the fight and are trying to save it.

New York has a rule that applies to boxers, and not to MMA fighters. Miesha Tate has implants and fought at UFC 205, the first UFC card in the state of New York.




Also, Cormier weighed in at 206.2 pounds, then returned to the scale 3 minutes later snd weighed in at 205 pounds. Rumble weighed in at 203.8 pounds. Both were over or under by the same amount of weight.

New York commission stated that it's a rule to allow championship fights to get a second chance to weigh-in if they miss weight. They said the rule isn't in the official rule book, but it's available at their website. wtf?
