I don't think Rousey s gonna have problems w cash any time soon :D she s probably banked at least 15-20milly off the UFC alone lifetime and she s been in hollywood and commercials for a while too

I don't think problems with Rousey are going to be cash related. It is going to be coming back to reality and swallowing the bitter pill that she is not what she thought she was.
Obviously big part of the problem was the media and ufc hype machine that just completely blown her up out of proportion and she really started to believe her own hype. I mean just one year ago Joe Rogan was drooling how she was once in lifetime human being or something and boosting about how she will beat most male ufc bantamweights. She was talking about how she can beat Cain Velasquez on a good day and becoming a boxing champion, even appearing on the cover of Ring Magazine... Compare that to now that 2 fights later she was completely smashed and exposed as a fraud.
Obv if you look things in perspective she is still extremely successful individual, the thing is if she can look at things from this angle.

She'll be alright, unless she is crazy.

The hype in hindsight was so fucked up crazy. She was always the Royce Gracie of female MMA instead of a once in a lifetime athlete. Royce can be credit with tons of amazing things, but the best fighter ever he is not. Ronda has done so much for female MMA that we can only be grateful for. I still think she can be a contender and she is only 29. I would be super hyped for a comeback one year from now if she spent the year at Jackson Wink and started at the bottom of the ladder working her way up. Remember at one point there was talk about her possibly getting into a boxing career. It's nuts. Edmund is the worst piece of shit.

I always connect it with finances in the end as she probably wont stay in an emotional downfall for too long. It's not her first loss, she has already been where she s at. If anything it should be a reality check. Too bad she got caught up in all the praise and embraced it without improving her game. That's what makes the difference between dominant champs and people that will be known long after they're gone like McGregor for example. Hype around him is bigger and he s looking better with each new fight. You have to be aware however of the two worlds, the UFC obviously would push the marketing to the highest level possible which personally influences fighters, the actual game however is something quite different. Other fighters are improving with each minute while she s doing interviews and filming movies.
Her downfall is also overexaggerated by the media as was the praise. They are still trying to gain maximum value while she s relevant. Thats how this world works, thats why people like MM get 100-200k per fight and she gets 3mil

Nunes needs to fight cyborg and get smashed. I think only a manlier chick can beat her, I don't see anybody in the roster except Cyborg. She's not an amazing fighter, but she's long aggressive and has a real snap to her strikes, who the hell can match up vs that?
Ronda was never mcgregor but they were packaged almost the same way. Mcgregor outclasses a decent array of opponents while ronda was the big fish in a retarded pond. There's at least some truth to Conor's build up while ronda proved to be a one trick pony who wanted to prove she wasn't by boxing against taebo chicks and believing she was at a boxer's level

Nunes would likely tap Cyborg a lot of the time. Cyborg has a pretty awful ground game, and Nunez is a good enough striker/wrestler and is athletic to hold her own long enough to get it to the floor. She's def a much better submission grappler once its on the floor.
She may not win because Cyborg is such a manly beast, but Nunes is certainly a better all-around fighter. She's #3 P4P behind JJ and Gadhella, who are clearly worlds above anyone at 35 or 45 technique wise.
For me, womens top 5 P4P:
#1. JJ
#2 CG
#3 Nunes
#4 Schevchenko
#5 Cyborg
On a women's side note, I think the hype behind Juliana Pena is hilarious. She is not good and will get embarrassed by Schevchenko. How did people watch her almost lose to Jessica Eye and STILL think she's good? I'm baffled. Then Zingano shows up, barely loses to her in a shit fight, and the hype only grows. Maybe Schevchenko's TDD is terrible and I don't know it, but I don't think so. I'm expecting juicy odds, near pick-em, on that fight.

She was kind of a dick to everyone except people who praised her or wasn't her opponent. I don't hate her but the blowback from haters should come as no surprise especially after going after "media" for doing their job which is to get "scoops"

I like Schevchenko a lot, but have you watched any of her kickboxing fights? She's like the biggest clinch machine in the world.
Like, completely unable NOT to clinch even if it's against the rules (watched one of her fights in China and it was literally 3 rounds of non-stop "PLEASE STOP DUMPING YOUR OPPONENT" warnings from the ref). Probably not gonna be a problem against Pena but I could see her getting into trouble against pure grapplers funnily enough...
Either way, definitely hope she wins, not a big fan of her opponent...

I've seen it thrown around a few places that her knees are in really poor condition, I wonder if there's any truth to that... It would explain why she basically never attempts anything resembling a leg-attack (though of course, IJF banning leg-attacks in Judo could be why as well).
Hm.. Off-suite socks..

I guess it's only natural given how arrogant and disrespectful she comes across. I for one have never enjoyed seeing anyone lose as much as I enjoyed seeing her lose and especially in the fashion she lost. I've felt a strong dislike towards a multitude of other fighters, but in the aftermath of almost any fight everybody I can think of bar Ronda Rousey is able to show respect and sportsmanship towards their opponent. Rousey is still a dick even after the fights
One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope

is she really ending the interview by saying that height and reach advantage is actually a disadvantage in boxing because in judo you can use people's weight against them?
I don't have anything against her though, confidence is cool and I don't mind sore losers (a crappy winner is much worse than a crappy loser). could definitely be that I haven't seen enough of her to know that she's a terrible winner as well though.

Actors in bad fighting movies would do better than this lmao
Then again being a trainer doesn't necessarily mean you should be able to do the things you teach
