Well if i may make a bold statement.

I think Rousey vs Nunes is still a 50-50 Matchup when Rhonda wasnt 1 year out of the Octagon.
Rousey got cought early and therefore fell apart in will-strength

At 4.48 at the clock she ate a crisp right + left combo followed by a left japp and powerfull overhand right
I respect Nunes for that absolutely beautiful executed combo (Right / left 2 powerstrikes into left jap +Full power overhand right) So much fluent rythm and diversity in Power/Speed/Hand Alternating in that combo.
As a former fighter that made me smile big time.

Fight was over by then

Rousey broke down mentally and realized she doesnt want to be in there anymore.

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)

Also Ronda eats shots marching forward to get the clinch, first fight that she encounters a solid striker she falls apart, 2nd fight she encounters a solid striker who actually hits like a dude then shes in queer street asap. She does well against cupcakes and taebo strikers, if she cant get the clinch she loses her shit. She has an unbelievable armbar but she's been fighting girly fighters who know little striking or butch lesbos with zero ground game.

if you think it was 50/50 then nunes is a good value bet.

not taking anything from ronda, she's a phenomenal athlete but she did not show any skill at all in her last 2 fights. time to drop her camp for a new one.

If Garbrandt tries that mocking with Dillashaw, he s prob gonna have a baaaad time.

Super nice fight though

Ronda s probably gonna retire now. She s a one trick pony that does not learn it seems. Her stand up stance is so freaking bad btw, her left hand covers nothing, I get it if she were a good boxer, but she s not so what the fuck is she doing ?:D

edit:
After watching the press conference, Cruz is one of biggest badasses ever

Nunes laughs hard " I know she s gonna try to strike with me, cause her boxing coach told her she has a good stand up " :D

Rousey is done. Her standup is comical. Her whole world shattered when she lost the first time, she's in a dark place mentally and has now been punched into an even deeper hole. Hard to sell her fights now aswell.

Garbrandt looked good. Cruz was affected by the trashtalking and taunting. Fun fight.

I agree TJ will give cody more trouble than cruz had. Id probably bet on TJ if they fought tbh

The press conferences are definitely worth watching. Cruz, Nunes, Garbrandt are all great and inspirational stories.

This was my post from before the Rousey vs Holm fight. I've always, and I mean always, had my doubts about Rousey, well before she ever lost. So this is just a straight up brag post, decided to go back and search the old thread. Only thing I was wrong about was how quickly Rousey would get destroyed if she didn't get her way, I didn't know she would be as bad as she is, but certainly knew the hype was insane. This was when Rousey was like -1100, didn't even make the much money though cuz I was a pussy and didn't make the huge bet I should have on a +700 dog.

Sad because I doubt there is ever another hype train as fake and exploitable in MMA ever again :/

Thanks for thread

Really excited for this card, I think its ripe for betting, especially some of the props on the chick fights and some squash matches on the card.

I agree with every single pick so no need to post those, nice picks mate. A lot of money down this week.

For Rousey vs Holm, 2 obvious scenarios exist at a much higher probability than the rest.

A) Most likely scenario - The fight will be a back and forth battle for a little where Rousey eats some shots to give some harder shots, powers into the clinch with Holm stuck against the fence, blisters her with knees to the body and over-hand rights, tosses or trips Holm, and subs Holm with an armbar variation. I do not think this will happen in the first minute, I think it will actually take Ronda some time, maybe multiple rounds.

B) In a lower probability scenario, but much higher than the odds indicate, we get to find out that Ronda Rousey completely sucks if she can't get you in the clinch (completely possible), and ends up getting picked apart for the majority of the fight or even gets finished late if she gasses (completely possible) via left high kick and the entire RR hype train is derailed. I would personally love to see this happen.

If she really wanted to still fight and decided to switch camps to say Jacksons and fight some realllly bad 35'ers while she learned how to strike and wrestle, which will take 3+ years of hard training with a real coach, then sure. But I doubt she has it in her, she's done most likely.

Sad thing is she's a terrible actress and the aura of badassery is gone, so I actually doubt the movie star option is even on the table anymore. Her story could get really ugly and depressing if she doesn't have some really good people around her who know how to help put things in perspective.

Maybe WWE is her best option for consistent $?
