sick ep. Maybe best one yet for the show.
lol at Varys teleporting back and forth.
seriously, the traveling time for characters in the finale was absurd:
-jaime going from riverrun to king's landing
-varys to dorne and back to meereen
-arya showing up in riverrun

Time lines in this show in general can be hard to track. Fat boy finally gets to Maysterville, the Varys to Dorne and back makes sense bc he doesn't go back to mereen, he's riding with the Dorne queen lady on the ship in the scene (trying to recall this in the episode, actually doubting my memory but not gonna rewatch it). Jaime arriving in Kings Landing was lol though but I have no real perception of how far anyone is away from anyone else despite the map intro every time.
Anyways I really liked the scene where we found out Jon Snow is actually the son of Ned's sister not a bastard of Ned afterall and he made up that story to protect him (she was mumbling didn't hear why he needed protection, something about someone killing or hurting him)

2.30 and onwards explains it
Robert Baratheon swore to kill every Targaryen
Lyanna Stark knew about Roberts endless hate for Targaryen House
he would never have allowed Jon Snow to live
U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)

Varys is like the ultimate doublethink politician: peace for the realm, fire and blood
One of 3 non decent human beings on a site of 5 people with between 2-3 decent human beings

One main Theme in GOT History is that Rhaegar Targaryen kidnapped Lyanna Stark.
Surprised u havent heard about it.

i dont mind the perceived teleporting because it can be mostly explained by the TV show not showing events on a linear timeline but rather some events that already happened being shown after events that just happened
ie. the meeting with varys and dorne happens before mereen ever gets attacked and he's already on his way back home by the time the attack starts
I bet if you pull out a map of GoT world and calculate how long it takes to travel to different places you'll find some discrepancies in some of these teleportation acts thought
but at this point in the series with them being "off book" we have to throw those types of expectations into the muck imo
not having a genius that has spent years thinking of every detail to model each episode off was a big change
tbh they did better than I expected, it's definitely been hollywooded out though

Why did Davos become super angry at the red witch all of a sudden, wasn't he just begging her in the last few episode to bring Jon back? like why get angry now tho?
He recently found that little toy she had near a fire pit, he didnt know what happened to her before that, didnt know how she died, etc. Now he knows she was burnt to death.
