wtf moments:
-apparently rickon has never seen apocalypto
-what everyone said about giant without any weapon
-jon snow the worst battle commander ever just charging in to likely suicide
-ramsay shooting his arrow at the giant at the end instead of hitting jon snow when he isnt paying attention
-why is daenarys riding a dragon straight at a ship that could shoot arrows at her? and why are the people on the ship not shooting arrows? so much unnecessary risk, just tell black dragon to go burn some shit.
this whole season has been a compilation of huge wtf writing moments, but there has been enough awesome shit happening that I've been ok looking past it.

Why are you guys praising this episode so hard? - felt so average. Good tv series try to usually stick out of cliches and make it more realistic ( yeah I get that it's a fantasy, but you know what I mean )
Littlefinger coming down with an army like that was so obvious .... I hoped that they wouldn't make it in a LoTR: Two Towers kind of way... sadly another disappointment
Rickon dying was so obvious as well, they were obviously just trying to cut loose ends. And the way that they killed him was just plainly stupid. Ramsay should've just chopped his head off before the battle, would've made tons of more sense.
Dialogues overall were dumb as fuck... Jon Snow asking the Red Priestess to not revive him if he dies? What is this ?? Trying to insert an insecure feeling into fans that Jon can actually die before the battle? Who are you kidding, so lame, so mediocre. Neither of them would waste time on such non sense
Khalessi suddenly has control over all three dragons, so there goes a huge concept out the door, won't even comment on the rest revolving around her story...
All in all, I'm surprised the show developed that way since there is no way GRRM's writing can be even nearly this terrible. They must've gone in a whole different direction.

Pretty cheesey and predictable, littlefinger arriving in the nick of time was shitty, I dont get why they didnt use the Giant better, It could have been the deciding factor for his 3k army beating his 6k army and then you can make littlefinger arrive for a last not so meaningful save a little beat how Tywin lannister arrived at Kingslanding siege.
On the bright side the battle scene was beyond amazing, one of the best I've seen it gives a perfect sense of chaos, headless corpses running on horses, people being taken out from blind angles constantly, also the spear and shield scene was good and when John was being smothered into the mud it gave an amazing feeling of helplessness I would have loved if he actually died there.

Agreed, cheesy and predictable as fuck

Rickon was supposed to be obvious, Ramsay has always been a marksman with the bow and as Sansa said he wouldnt let him live, it was a bait and John took it.

It felt to me more like John was looking for a kind of prophecy to hold on to.
Khalessi suddenly has control over all three dragons, so there goes a huge concept out the door, won't even comment on the rest revolving around her story...
Tyrion released the dragons, they set this up, also Drogon seemed to communicate with them telling him to go with him, it did make sense to me.

But I agree this feels totally different how GRRM writes much more realistically and less cheesy lets just hope its just this bit and it doesnt turn into a shitty LotR

They could have mixed it up a bit. Maybe make it so Sansa isn't retarded and tells John about LF's reinforcements possibly arriving. Then John snow waits a bit until they arrive but they are hidden from the boltons. The boltons are lured out and then crushed very quickly by a cavalry encirclement+giant running in and breaking up their ranks with a massive club.

yes! run side to side dammit!
-what everyone said about giant without any weapon
yup! why didn't make a big ass crossbow for him??? with a big ass arrow with an exploding arrowhead!
-jon snow the worst battle commander ever just charging in to likely suicide
well. that's his youngest bro out there. but he should at least yelled "run side to siiiide!!!"
-ramsay shooting his arrow at the giant at the end instead of hitting jon snow when he isnt paying attention
well... ramsay loves hunting. he's prolly "tooteetooo... i kill big beast monster first..."

dragon scales = harder than valayrian steel, imo. so dragon not fear arrows.
people on ship in shock awe of dragon. that is daenarys strategy. fly dragon in place = shock and awe. then let dragon spit fire.

true true.

+1 to sansa not bothering to tell jon about the vale army and wun-wun not wrecking shit like he was doing @ Hardhorme. not enough budgets so they had to decrease his power level lmao.

big ass crossbow + big ass arrow + big ass exploding arrow head would have been better imo. but yeah a giant club would do too.
lol a big ass crossbow would be the most difficult weapon to craft (especially by wildlings) and the least effective one, he will kill what, 5 people per shot tops? with a club he would smash dozens per minute, actually I dont remember anybody depicting a giant with a crossbow.

i regular big ass bow will do too. i'm pretty sure they can make one.

Your idea is bad and you should feel bad
you forgot about the big ass exploding arrowhead. if the giant had that, he could shoot ramsay with that while rickon was running back. he would def be still alive.

@ lucky
The whole Giant and a bow idea is ridiculous...... just admit its stupid and drop it
I also think 1 single Giant would never handle the 3000 extra Man the Boltons had.
Still making him fight bare handed was stupid , too.
Best weapon options for a giant are either a Battle Scythe or a Barbed Club
Maybe this way he can kill a hundred enemies before he dies
U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)
Wanna guess how much the stars of GOT are making per episode?
Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) will all be paid north of $500,000 per episode for Season 7.
-Arya comes back to westeros and makes frey pies, serving them to freys/lannisters who start accusing each other of dissappearing freys. Arya then kills walder frey.
-Lynna mormont gives a speech, Northern lords express regret/sorrow that they didnt follow up. John is named DAKINGINDANORF
-LF wants to marry Sansa or marry her off to robin? They meet in the woods. He is all round pretty creepy. John snow interrupts their meeting when LF gives her a creepy kiss. Some mild shit goes down but not sure what.
-Davos goes apeshit @melisendre. John doesn't execute her.
-John + Sansa discuss both of their stupid decisions in last weeks episode and say they need to trust each other
-King tommen either gets pushed out of a window-by margery, or jumps out to escape a wildfire explosion. Maybe he jumps out in despair.
-Cersei burns down the sept with wildfire, the mountain kills Setpa Unella. This could set off a reaction and burn the red keep + maybe all of kings landing. All around massive deaths on all sides. Kevan dead, pycelle dead, Tyrells dead except queen of thorns who is not in KL. Faith are dead.
-Bran arrives @ wall, has a vision, its Ned Stark and Lynna, there's a baby. Then it goes back to John Snows face. R+L=J confirmed.
-Dany sets sail for westeros with her army at the very end of the episode. Tyrion tells her about how fucked shit is going to get if she invades with dothraki before this.
-varys makes alliances with dornish sand sneks.
-Possibly the BwB and hound get a scene, not sure.
-starts snowing in Kings Landing
