Why does no one think Dany has the madness curse? She is about to become one of the biggest mass murderers with her invasion of westeros with dothraki and has already done some insane stuff, so it seems like she is well gone towards 'mad' to me. Her 'advisers' are deluding themselves or misguided if they think mongol invasions bring 'peace' to the realm. Would be interesting to see how it all pans out.
|
That would be confirmed if she lets the invasion hurt innocent ppl in random villages. She obviously did not allow that when she was going to Meeren. She killed all hostiles and helped everyone else so there s no clear reason to think that? Also if she was mad she would've slaughtered the whole city of Meeren after the Unsullied massacre.
You can't call her mad cause she will destroy all armies in front of her city now( well you can since war is something retarded overall but thats not the idea ).
Also I'm not quite sure the invasion will happen the way we think it will, since she has no fleet, I highly doubt she ll have all of her army going to Westeros
|
well they descent into madness... and Danny sure is pretty extreme, I never considered it but thats a development I would like, she conquers westeros but she goes mad.. nice :D |

Episode 7 was okay. It seemed like they mostly introduced what's going to happen during the next 3 episodes for each of the storylines. Nothing major really got done in this episode. |

This is really weird, the brotherhood would never slaughter people like that. What the fuck? They were protecting normal people, not massacring them
Also whats the point in bringing back The Hound, with a connection to the brotherhood and not Lady Stoneheart, hopefully they bring her back too, another popular fan theory that got confirmed though ( The Hound one ). At this rate the book will be full of already revealed plot twists, which kind of sux |

Atmosphere was great allthough basically nothing really happend
Episode 6 and 7 were simply just made to build stuff up for the last 3 episodes of the season |

The brotherhood would have disintegrated/got high jacked and turned into some group of thieves. Happens all the time to political movements in real life. I thought the new character with the hound was interesting and a pretty good actor but they killed him off ... The point of bringing back the hound? It's obvious, so he can eat every fucking chicken in the riverlands.
For a second i thought they killed off arya at the end because those stab wounds would be so fatal LOL. Now for the next 3 episodes im thinking...
Ep8: No-oneBowl
Ep9: BastardBowl
Ep10: SparrowBowl?

---Spoiler -------concerning Arya in Episode 7
| |
Where the hell did she get that kind of money ?
Theory is that it was Jaqen disguised by Arya's face, who was actually testing the Waif to see if she really was Faceless. Shes just stupidly proven that shes not because she showed ego when she stabbed repeatedly and twisted the knife, the Faceless are not supposed to draw enjoyment from the deaths but the Waif did. He told her to make sure she doesnt suffer but the Waif is spiteful and made sure she would. She failed HER test. This Arya didn't talk like Arya, walked with hands behind her back like Jaqen does AND she didnt have needle which makes no sense. Also, he knew that Arya is no Faceless girl, but he taught her the skills needed so she can avenge her family and fulfil her destiny with a level head as opposed to rushing into it with only vengeance in her sights, and now hes booked her safe passage home because he cares for her. Also, earlier in the season when Arya is pulling the various faces off Jaqen before he makes her blind, she pulls off HER face. Therefore he doesnt need her to be dead to have her face, he is afterall a Master of the Faceless Men
|
Considering all facts this could be very well true
When watching I was really wondering myself how careless she was walking around, right after having betrayed the most dangerous assasin guild in the world |

pretty sick theory
I personally thought she was having a dream or something in the moment because it all just seemed too stupid to actually be happening. I think this theory is probably true tbh |

I wonder why anyone would care if this theory is true or not. There isn't much point to the story putting a gimmick like this in the show. It seems quite unlikely even if it makes sense. To me it is more likely that scriptwriters don't care about fatally stabbing someone then having them do cartwheels next episode, so i to me it will likely be that Arya somehow survives a fatal stab wound due to her valaryian steel plot armor and maybe she will find someone to heal her next episode before facing off against the waif in no-onebowl!

he drank poison and killed himself in a previous episode but it was some illusion. The faceless men magic isn't really fully explained. |

I have this theory from a german fantasy youtube channel called "Nerdkultur"
The guy so far was 100% correct on all his theories concerning every Episode from Season 6.
So chances are pretty high he is correct again.
+ It makes a lot of sense.
You can clearly see at the end of Episode 6 (or was it 5 ?) that Arya is in panic -> hiding in some sort of underground hiding-place preparing needle
She just betrayed the most deadly assains guild in the world and expects the worst
In this episode however you can see her walking carelessly open on the streets and just having a good time chilling , walking and enjoying the sun.
This is such an obvious contrast to what every halfway not braindamaged person would expect that i guess most viewers see someting fishy going on there.
Everything in that sceene just was so strange that it could very well be a dream.

I don't know about this theory, but the whole Arya part in the last episode seemed super off to me, considering the previous episode. Like she was carefree, as you've said she just betrayed the only people who can kill u in a matter of seconds out of nowhere, and she acts that way ?
There s something behind it, whole theory however seems dumb to me. If he helps Arya who seeks vengeance, why would he stop his helper who is egocentric as well ??? A man has no feelings, plus why wouldn't he just show himself and tell her she failed and she can fuck off or kill her? |

I think its clear that Jaquen has always like Aria, maybe he is letting her go so she can carry on her vengance and then be free from that and become a true faceless |

That doesn't confirm anything. i noticed that watching the episode, assumed it was popular fashion to look like that in bravos. |

I'm thinking that Arya actually is the Waif and her mission is to kill her true identity. I don't think we have seen the Waif interact with anyone other than Arya and Jaquen so it seems plausible. |
