i try hard not to let unrealistic stuff from tv shows get to me in a way that would make me think the show is stupid. So I usually think most of the complaints are nitpicking. "How did she know stuff wasn't fix to the ground". Seriously? She rides dragons...
For a (short) while I completely stopped watching tv shows because I kept thinking on how hard the actor/actress was trying to act in front of a green blanket. That tiled the shit out of me and I was literally watching nothing like tv shows or movies because I couldn't watch them anymore lol the idea that nothing was real was stressing me out badly. Thank god it lasted no longer than 2-3 months and I set that idiotic view aside and now I'm able to watch stuff again without having to hyperanalyze everything.
Do I think double weielding swords is stupid? Definitely. But if it's working in the show, fine by me.

if you check the vid bigbobm posted (the one that features an expert on the field commenting on that fight) it turns out that it's not stupid and actually happened in human history (rarely but still)

every story in fiction contains elements that aren't real. The job of the tv show writers is to make it feel as believable as possible and to do that yes absolutely they have to ask themselves boring questions like "how does she know the thing isnt bolted to the ground". They really suck at that and criticising them for it is OK, yes even if the story has people flying around on dragons

He cited like Italy in a very specific timeframe... its a silly thing to do that many shows do, there was no need, I think they can showcase his skill in a much better way kind of like Bronn fought at the Vale but the scene simply felt cheap

Dam I kinda like tommen now. Everyone seems to hate him but I think he is much better off joining the church than being told what to do by petty adults in his family. Apart from hating on gays the church seems pretty decent.

From Castle Black to Crasters Keep its 6 days footmarch or about ~ 100km distance
So currently White Walker Army are around 12-15 days away from reaching the Wall / Castle Black
Lets assume they come from far far north (half a year north of the Haunted Forest) and then for some reason wander all the way from Fist of the first man to Hardhome(East Coast) and back to the raven cave... which may have takem them additional 2-3 months in total.
So even if they had to march around almost 1 fucking year
Between Season 1 and Season 6 ---> five years have past

The white walkers can't cross the wall yet because it is enchanted, similar to how the cave of the three eyed raved was enchanted to prevent the white walkers from coming in. However, now that Bran is marked, I think the white walkers can find a way to get over the wall if he crosses back over it.
