Where do you bet? I bet South Korea +335 about 20 minutes ago on Bookmaker.
$5 on South Korea +335, $3 on Mexico +825. |

Bovada. The lines i'm speaking of is on the point spread not the money line where u can bet the draw as well. So on pickem +185 korea for instance i risk $100 to win $185 if korea wins. on a draw at end of 90 min the bet pushes. |

This was posted at an MMA website with the title, "Dempsey looks like he just got punched by Thiago Silva."
I guess he broke his nose during the game yesterday.

Ties are so dumb. They should do penalty shots to declare a winner. |

PR, a tie vs brazil in that group is a massive 1-point win for Mexico considering croatia got 0 for losing to them and cameroon will most certainly lose as well. If Mexico ends up with the same wins as another team then that tie vs brazil will be the factor that advances them to the next round |

A tie doesn't make me any money if I bet on Mexico's ML, which is what I did. I have South Korea's ML too, but it looks like it will end in a tie too. |

shoulda bet the spread for mexico. Them straight up winning that game is so unlikely as the brazilian team prob has the best defense around if not at least top 3 in the world.
That mexican keeper ochoa was unbelievable today. Hats off for that world class performance.
Belgium looked pretty meh until Fellani came in as an attacking option. Then the game just started to swing way into Belgium's favor...I wouldn't be surprised if he started as a attacking mid/shadow striker next match. But credit to Algeria's really disciplined and tight defense. But as a team they look pretty toothless and not dangerous at all on the counter attack.
I got so lucky to push my bet on south korea lollll...The coach made an excellent adjustment to push Ki sung young (referred to as the "asian Gerrard" by Liverpool's Brenden Rodgers which i think is pretty flattering but he does indeed have some real quality as a defensive holding mid or an attacking option. Very versatile) Back to a defensive mid position...specifically helping out our starting left back who are absolute trash in my opinion and greatly contributes to Korea's defensive weaknesses. A coaching win nonetheless.
As soon as the starting central full back was stretchered off ( i was like ahh fuck not feeling good about the next 15 min) the back line just went to shit and the guy who subbed in #6 scrub made an awful panic clearance to punt the win away. aslkdjglksajdg tilt.
Feeling a lot more hopeful about Korea's chances if our key defensive guys can stay healthy. Just need to stomp on Algeria and not end up tieing them 0-0 ; / |

Lost a bet on Nigeria, followed by Ghana, ALMOST followed by Belgium, followed by Brazil, followed by Russia. Fuck this im done i obviously suck at football betting. Still can't believe Nigeria and Ghana didnt win and how they performed so poorly( especially Nigeria ... was so pathetic) and i expected Russia to be bad, but good enough to win vs SK, guess lack of vodka and 15 C* higher on avg. temp is too much for them.
Brazil should pray that Mexico wont stomp Croatia w 3-0 or smtng ( althought its highly unlikely ) cuz if they get out of the group at 2nd place there s no way they're moving past 1/8 finals without huge referees push
Actually after the first matches I don't see how can anyone stop Germany and Holland at this world cup ( except Italy they re always ready to use their ultra gay strategy which they always use past gruop stage - score a goal - defend till win ) |

Betting on African teams is a no no imo.
Belgium sucks balls, they luck boxed a head score against an inferior team. Twisted's analisis on TL is pretty much on:
""Belgium is massively overrated because they have a bunch of water carriers at top clubs in the massively overrated premier league. And a bad coach. And they're playing with 4 centerbacks. Vertonghen caused a penalty because he's playing a position he shouldn't be playing."
Chile-Spain tomorrow gonna be epic. |

Great game by Chile and 100% deserve to go through. Guys show so much heart and team work for 90 minutes - things that most teams are lacking. Defensive line and positioning is solid and they way they pressured Spain was a joy to watch.
Calling Belgium team "water carriers" and "overrated" is pretty retarded. Their main issue coming into the WC was their young squad who are fairly inexperienced but capable (Only Van Buyten has played a final tournament before). Vertonghen got caught out in a stupid situation - happens to everybody. Lukaku looked damn near useless for the whole hour he was on the pitch. The first 35 minutes of Belgium was a shadow of their actually ability, the tactic was far too conservative and didn't fit the team at all (bad call by the manager imo). Second half with Mertens started sharper, Origi looked better than Lukaku and Fellaini was more offensive minded - they should have put Algeria on their back foot from minute 1 but they didn't.. I only see Belgium improving over the next couple of games, they will hopefully become more comfortable, get into their swing of things and prove that they are genuinely a good team.
Brazil are yet to make a good impression on me, I just don't see how they can be called favourites at this point in time. They haven't been convincing at all, maybe that can change with the Cameroon game? In the last game Fred looked like he rather be at home. Marcelo should have been booked for that blatant dive as to discourage others to try and get away with horse shit like that.
Uruguay vs England will be interesting. I don't see Suarez being 100% fit as some are claiming, if he was in a decent in enough shape they would have played him vs Costa Rica. However, Suarez has been running teams ragged all season and he has experience against all of the english back four. With 31 goals last season, they should be fucking scared of him.

WC live-bet question: Croatia was leading 1-0 when I made a live-bet of "Croatia wins the rest of the 1st half."
After the first half was over, my bet was graded as a loss. Did Croatia need to score another goal to win the first half? I assumed they would be the winner of the 1st half because they lead 1-0. |
