I can't believe that US is 6 to 1 dogs to actually win this match. |
Its kind of annoying how WC points work because Germany and US can basically both draw their way in. So there's no real incentive for either to try to hard and even though I'm sure a real game will be played they'll be an unspoken rule "Pass the ball around a lot." So I'm sure that's reflected in the lines. |

I hope USA beat Germany.
Easy win for France against USA
(a football thread without trolls and taunt is a bad thread , gg England and Spain btw )
Germany is the only team I fear , with Holland i guess ... (they were pathetic in 2012 but it's not like France was great the last 8 years ^^)
Brazil and Argentina are very meh so far |

Couple of great bets imo:
Colombia +140 against Japan
France -113 against Ecuador
Switzerland -221 against Honduras is also pretty ok. |
I took Switzerland at -208. Betting on teams when they don't need to win is hard for me to gauge. |

Their midfield sucks, Chile will dominate them. But then start 0-1 from a free kick/corner and lose |

I made my final soccer plays of the WC 2 days ago: Ivory Coast ML +105 ($10), and Colombia ML +135 ($15). Gonna let them ride.
I might bet the semi finals, but only if South Korea or USA makes it there. |

Is it top 1 or top 2 that advance from each group?
I assume Germany is expected to rape USA, at least on paper. |

Did you just imply that such expectation is wrong with "on paper" ? or you simply are using it wrong ? |

Well, let's reword it and use MMA instead of soccer.
A fighter can seem more dominant on paper, but actually not be as good as most people think he is; usually for the fact that said fighter has been padding his record against lesser opponents, or, the fighter is going up against an opponent that's just a bad match-up for him.
Now, let's bring it back to soccer. I assume that Germany has the better players and coach, thus being the better team (I don't watch soccer, going with what everyone else is saying). If Germany is the better team, I assume that most people expect them to easily beat USA in their upcoming game. |

So you were using it wrong.
Germany is expected to beat the USA and that is what most likely will happen. |
