Made a couple more bets which I thought had decent lines on bovada.
Columbia vs Ivory Coast.
Picked Ivory coast at +165. In my eyes this game is closer to a flip. The weather forecast is relatively mild compared to a lot of other games. No rain and the lack of sweltering heat will help the much bigger Ivorians run the whole 90 min without too much trouble.
Chile vs Spain.
Picked Chile at +.5 +130. Sure the Spainards are beasts but I think Chile can come through with a tie quite a bit and even the win through their explosive offense and all in style of soccer. (sanchez is a top class talent no doubt) It'll be a high variance game but it'll be fun nonetheless!

I really dont think that was just a mistake, I think it was an act of bribery, if FIFA is involved or not its hard to say, it could have been direct bribery for th ereferee.
As Ive said many times football has the most ridiculous refereeing in all sports, its cartoonish like pro-wrestling, a guy can single handedly decide the outcome of a match where hundreds of millions are involved and then people wonder why is there corruption... well because the whole fucking thing is set up to be corrupted
yeah man, its a conspiracy! direct bribery by the illuminati!
From everything I've read about the sport, corruption is rampant within it. From bribing international officials to get games hosted at certain places, to outright fixing of exhibition games and officials (this was in 2010).
I think it would be extremely naive to completely deny claims that officials may possibly be being bought - especially in a country like Brazil, where corruption apparently flourishes.
No.

Just put $5 on USA to win at +200 for some action.
I read earlier today that they lost someone, maybe a guy named Donovan, so they should be in a worse spot than before. No way will I waste my time watching this shit though, but hopefully America can pull out the win.

Nigeria was 10x more entertaining than Germany, they just try to score at all times at full speed, only problem is the lack of skill
Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

Well 2nd half of Nigeria was very bad imo(didn't have the fysique to keep playing like their first 30ish minutes), although technically they did score a perfectly fine goal in the first half.
I don't get why people say Germany was so good either. They had like 1chance before Pepe lost his head and Portugal just underperformed.
Netherlands and France gave me the best impression so far eventhough France was vs a pretty lowranked team, so we'll have to see what that means vs a good team.

germany looked incredibly solid. they're not bringing individual fireworks offensively but they're all moving so smartly and they're so good at passing and they are good defensively.. and they are so stacked, no indispensable players. if rvp/robben have a day off netherlands is a much different team.

'MURICA!
Honestly thought we looked like ass, couldn't keep possession in the second half for our lives. But seems like all we need now is a draw vs Portugal.

The off the ball movement of the German team was unbelievably strong. The passing was the best i've seen thus far in the tournement. The ablity to control the game from the midfield and the exciting constant forward movement of the ball is nothing to scoff at. They are looking like the best team thus far. Germany was absolutely dominating the game even before pepe lost his head and punted the game away (lol he has 8 career red cards in club football)
I agree that france's win vs honduras was a bit flattering since honduras has no real quality to speak off. But benzema, evra etc looked REALLY solid.
Nigeria looked solid but i think ze germans looked way more impressive/entertaining. I was getting a boner just watching them pass the ball it was so beautiful to watch.
If u like all in soccer watch chile! the red hot chile peppers are so fun to watch. quite possibly the most entertaining team in the worldcup imo.

I bet korea at +185 about 3 months ago when korea was looking more solid and i believed it to be closer to a 50/50 game. (the line dropped to +135 korea on bovada just 3 days prior and skyrocketed up past couple days )
After the 2 friendly games before the worldcup I have all but lost faith in the team. The defensive weaknesses of the team can almost not be overcome imo. It's brutally bad. Hopefully the coach can make the right adjustments before going into the match.
I don't think i'm going to be taking belgium or brazil at -1.5...seems like a toss up. I haven't seen much of belgium in action but I am very familiar with their roster (superrr stacked). I also havn't seen much of algeria. I know they have a few quality players and don't know how well they'll gel together. We might see a costa rica or might see a honduras...not really sure wasn't following them that closely.
And brazil is inconsistent before the group stages are over historically. Mexico at +1.5 is tempting but I don't have much faith in that team to take down the monster that is brazil.
I'm just letting my old korea bet ride and just enjoy tomorrows games without much action.
If i were to do additional action cuz i had the itch I would def gamble mexico at +1.5 but wouldn't feel good about it. Seems more attractive than the other options available though.
