I haven't been dating/seeing anyone for quite a while. It wasn't really a conscious decision but maybe the mix of having no real viable options + contemplation about views on love, relationships.
Anyway I met a new friend, and she is so beautiful, I am finding myself drawn to her. I have been having a blast with her, and have taken her on a few play dates, like driving into the country and looking at the stars with no kissing but hand holding. I don't know if she likes me more than friends.
Anyway earlier this week I saw her talking to some other guys, and I got kind of ridiculously jealous and felt really stupid for feeling this way. I didn't enjoy the way I was feeling because it's so stupid. Maybe stupider than this post. Anyway I adjusted by cutting my time with her.
I'm just confused as to what to do and want to just save myself any future embarrassment or heartache

Also in general if you wanna be with someone you have to work on your insecurities that make you fearful and jealous. It's kinda zen bullshit but you can only attract and be with someone after you reach the point of not needing to be with someone.
Your happiness should be from within and it should not be affected this much by someone else. A girl will not fill the hole in your soul and make you happy. Not for long anyway, if you depend on them like that.

He got a relevant point though, overall (which means not all women but the majority), women don't like much "kindness", they'd rather be treated roughly in a subtle way (not too much attention but enough to show you care, not too many compliments but some to show you look up to them, etc ...). And the most important: make them laugh, be comfortable... but you know it's not an exact science, no male will ever understand how a woman thinks, that's a fact. My advice: be yourself, don't try to be someone else and more importantly, ask yourself if she is really worth your efforts/time/manies...
