Two things about the gunfight

1. They wanted to show those guns blazing and throw a solid bit of violence in there.

2. The part of the gunfight we saw in real time was only a second or two. They used slow motion and replayed the scene from different POVs. Guns started firing and they shot back instantly taking cover the car was only feet away. Still unrealistic they didn't get blasted but they really slowed that down for dramatic effect; to show those ARs ripping in slowmo

For all you know the only reason the nazis asked to see badges was to shoot them while vulnerable

Just have one of them slowly reach for his badge and toss it to them with his gun still aimed. Only reasonable play.

Really good episode, bad ending. But with good shows like this I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt that they will make it right in the near future.

Huell ratting on Walt so easily was also lame, guys in that position dont rat so fast.

Even if it was only a second, they were aiming with one eye closed totally in sights at 20 meters, it was a silly scene.

There's really not much of a point in keeping his character around any longer

I thought it was common knowledge that gunfights in movies are exaggerated for dramatic effect. Kind like in James Bond/Mission impossible movies where hero is up against a crew of 20 villains and they all miss him but he slowly takes him out 1 by 1.

Police pistol magazines can hold up to like 15/16 rounds were as civilians only get ones with 10 for situations just as this.

As for showing badge... how can you not smell the bullshit from that guys tone of voice and smirk after he says it?

overall. best episode so far of the season. cant wait for next.

Should have killed Gomi in the first shot or two, would have been much better, his character has no where to go anyways.

they are exagerated in shitty blockbusters movies, one would expect a more decent realistic scene in breaking bad, thats why people are complaining.

agree. usually it turns out like crap like breaking bad. but my favorite gun fight scene of all time was just like this
