So yeah, I really am thinking that I have a reasonable edge over the other regs at nl100. Today I felt really good. I, of course, ran good as well.. but I don't think I'll be dropping to nl50 really anytime soon.
Its a little early to pronounce my Feb goal of nl100 REGULATOR completed, but by the end of the month I will have a 20k+ sample here. Of course the next obstacle will be dealing with a real downswing
I 6tabled nl100 today and it felt really comfortable. I focused better and my attention was held for MUCH MUCH longer than when I play 4tables. I think I will 6table the rest of the weekend and see how it goes.
I'm going to start taking nl200 shots when the tables are soft as well. Oddly, I see a number of the regs from nl100 at nl200 too, so that's kind of interesting...
I woke up at 11.30PM today ROFL. Its 6AM now. I'd keep playing, but there aren't even 6 fuckin nl100 tables being played at right now LOL
NL200 is fun when I'm online at the right time so that there are actually fish to bash. Kinda boring when it's a nitfest. Guess I gotta learn to whoop on bad regs now. Damn.
Overall still doing well despite running below EV on the NL200 shot. But I'm up so that's good. And by up I mean by 1 buyin. But that's fine cause the important thing is playing well and I think I've done that so far. All my AI loses have been coolers/suckouts so that's a good sign. Had a few spewy bluffs but I was smart enough to shut down on em before it was a disaster. I think they were ok spots to bluff but my reads on the players were wrong, so that makes em bad spots. But I'm learning how to handle people.
Great thing is that I've been able to maintain my play style. Usually when I do NL200 I start tightening up or doing stupid shit. So far this shot I've played like me, which is great. I spend a lot of time getting my head straight before I play because my biggest battle right now is a mental one.
Went out tonight before playing and had sushi at a friends house. My GF and I had a really good time and I didn't get to the tables till about 1am, which is fine cause they're juicy at that time on a Friday night. Tomorrow I'm gonna go see my dad and stay at his place for a few days and mass grind. Also gonna go with him to check out some real-estate (sp?). We're thinking of trying to buy some places to flip em. We'll see how that goes.
Overall life is quite good. I'm approaching NL200 in a sober way that I've never done before. I am confident in my game and am making sure to play in a good mindframe. I haven't played as much as I'd like but I think it's more important to be mentally sound while playing than to play more hands. Hopefully I will be able to continue playing NL200 and a heater will strike =)
Hey guys, as usual I am only playing hands that are allotted to me from the hand chart I'm currently using and raising 4xbb + 1bb per limper, reraising 3x the original raisers raise. Here are a few hands from today's session (only played 2 hours today since friends dragged me out of the house... but I plan on playing a lot more tomorrow.) Anyway, I've been trying to look for patterns in betting in showdowns and trying to figure out when I am beat but at the moment I am being called down and re raised by almost anything so it has not been easy figuring out where to fold and when to re raise/call re raises or bets. I have a few questions I'd like to get out of the way really quick as well,
1. Should I be raising pre-flop MP-LP if I am first to act with medium pocket pairs?
2. Are JJ-77 considered medium pairs?
3. If I get wired AA-JJ and get called by one player should I be worried after flop when I get re raised when there are all lower cards on board with no flush or straight draw? Should I call and then c/f following turn?
4. Same situation as above but flush/straight draw instead comes on board.
5. Is it correct to continuation bet from EP when nothing hits?
6. When I get re raised with my continuation bet should I call then c/f following turn if nothing improves?
Please let me know what you think of the following hands.

Goal for today 286 SNG's 16$ on PS. I hope I won't fail coz actually I have a bit of a headache but should work. I've never done anything like this before so I'm interested in how it goes.
I'm praying I won't tilt after 10 lost flips or sth, coz otherwise it's gonna be a disaster
I need to clear 25bonus fast - that's why I'm doing it
This will be on of my first sundays off in a long time. I am a tourney player and won a couple tournies last year on stars. Im looking to work out a deal with someone to get staked on stars for the sun mil. If intrested PM me
Looking for a 10nl stake ($200) ive been a solid winner at 2/5/10/25nl for some time, all hands and results in my blog/hh. The reason why iam busto is because I have real life money issues because of the recession in england, its extremely hard to find a job at the moment so I end up withdrawing my winnings.
I played a solid month in January playing through 2/5/10/25nl and had a solid preformance which was $730+, considering the stakes, its quite good.
I know it will be hard to get a stake but hopefully there is some1 who has seen me playing and believes in me. I offer good terms if you are interested in profit from staking me.
nl100 6max going pretty fine i guessby rogier, February 20
yup, so far this month 15k hands with a decent winrate(6.5 ptbb qualifies as decent I guess at least, up like 1.9k ), however i feel like I am spewing in spots where I should not, and I sometimes tilt away a buyin(by 5betshoving AQ vs a nit for example, baaaad habit).
Think my game can be improved a lot, but the results really satisfy me so far, and I do notice how much more fun it is as grinding fullring.
Anyway, it's really funny how badly people sometimes tilt against a slightly unorthodox style ^^ (playing a looser style as most people do i guess, 29vpip/26pfr/4.8AF according to PT), however I hope to improve my game in the following aspects:
1) 3bet pots in which I'm not the initial raiser and am OOP(this is fucking hard)
2) finding good spots to 3bet
3) more agression on the turn/river especially
Hope to put in a long grinding session in the night, if my internet holds (well, my sisters internet that is, so far it seems like a polish connection T_T ). Goals of that: to win some money, but mainly to put in some volume that gets me back on supernova schedule(or platinum schedule: so far this month just 5.2k vpp )
how I love my game right now! I am 100% shure I have never played better than this!
I just ended a 1500 hand session at NL400 against a lot of regulars and I really felt I had an edge against them. Some of the tables I completely ran over I read their ranges very well and adjusted well. Of course there are a lot of things I need to work on, especially valuebet thin enough, but I think I had a really solid game and made very few mistakes. The session ended up 3,5BI.
I had a positive non-showdown winnings (a hugh step forward ), I played loose enough for my style (23/18/4) and I felt I found good situations to squeeze.
I think I played a better deep game today also then I have done before. One hand though am I very interested to know how I should have played: http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/636957
This hand shows a lot of my weaknesses in deep stack poker.. Is it a B/F on the river?

Ok, so it's time for a long as blog post. Inspired by a chance meeting at lunch with a girl who when we were 15 she had such great knockers I think I would've liked her even if I knew she was Satan. I'm pretty sure never had any sexual interest what so ever in me but still was very nice to the pathetic little nerd know as “Dusty, anno 2001”. Considering how I don't think she got much out of it, except maybe the fact that he was like one of maybe 3 or 4 people in school with a comparable intellect to hers which may or may not have been good for conversations, I'll consider her a good person until proven otherwise. In fact, she's easily top 10 on my “People who are genuinely good”-list, despite the fact that she's not nearly a 10 anymore.
”Yeah, I will love you
baby - Always
and I'll be there forever and a day -
Always ” - Bon jovi, 1994
I think I even liked that damn song. Can't stand it anymore, but that was approximately what I felt the last year I went in the same school as her. Despite getting like a hug or something as most. Saw her in her undies while playing cloth poker. Half a year later I redefined ”Always” to ”Until I actually get to sleep with a girl”, and since I had the good fortune to met a girl with very low self esteem that fall ”Always” translated to ”like 4 months”. I feel that this was very good for my growth as a man, despite me fucking everything about this new girl up within like 2 months form our first kiss. It was not pretty. I still was an idiot, but a non-virgin Idiot and that took some pressure away.
“They say there's a heaven for those who will wait
Some say it's better but I say it ain't
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints
Sinners are much more fun...
And only the good die young “ - Billy Joel, 1977
Anyway, while still in school with the first girl a common theme was hating her latest boyfriend. But me and my current roommate (who also went in our class) agreed on what obvious scum anyone she dated was. The first one was some fat idiot who sang in a band. Obviously an easy target to hate, and we did, ohh God how we hated him. Funny part is that I actually liked him before he dated this girl and now a few years later I can honestly say that some of his songs are pretty decent. Don't think that band exists anymore though. Not sure. Next in line when (I think) this dude dumped her ass (Imo a clear sign that he should've been declared legally retarded) was some tall faggot. Same personality, only good looking and completely talentless. I think he dumped her when she was going to move away for school because “he'd only be able to fuck her on weekends”. At least according to legend. Or maybe she told me, I think it was around this time she started to confine in me before getting under the next dude. This one, however, was very different. I had met him a couple of times because he was a friend of a friend and seemed like a really good guy. I finally decided that I couldn't possibly find an excuse to hate him so I would just feel jealous, but admit the fact that they were a really good couple and gave us singles hope about true love and all that crap. The he died, 19 years old, in a diving accident.
“Too much of anything, is too much for me,
Too much of everything gets too much for me. “ - The who, 1971.
So life is unfair and good deeds gets punished. I though. I got over that though.
Today I met her by chance before a meting with some other students. She studies psychology, is really short, still has big but not exceptional knockers and showed no cleavage. She's still nice, but except thanks to her past I don't think I'd notice her. I still like her and everything, but on current accomplishments she's not really that great. But that's the cool thing, why the hell would someone need to be exceptional? As long as you're a decent human being I'm pretty sure I could learn to like you. I think Heinlein said something along the lines that he, given enough time, could learn to to love any decent human being and I think that's true for many of us. However, he defines love as a state in which another persons happiness is central for your own. I like that definition. In fact, by that definition I could probably find like 25 people I love. And if I knew all the people I semi-know better I could probably go past 100.
So far this month I've played a pathetically small volume. That sucks, I'll try to end it at like -10k or less, and then win 20k next month so that I'll be back on track.
Does it mean i will only get 10.63$ on my moneybookers account once it's done?
