But the best place would be at a poker table, oh the sweet sweet justice of having us meet for the first time in our game of choice. We wont know each other at first, but maybe the table will become social, and we'll all recant about our poker histories, and someone will drop a comment about playing online. It'll go something like "yeah FTP is rigged, I always lose there" and then you'll chime in that you nod and agree, and I'll toss out a question about screenames, to which each will reply with theirs, ultimately landing upon you. You wont notice it, but once the words "huabing" are uttered from your mouth I will become a fiery red, incensed with anger and rage. I'll calmly scoot my chair back, stand up, and casually walk up behind you, you not even aware I have left. Then I'll donkey punch you in the back of the goddamn head knocking your fucking glasses off or whatever you are wearing on your head. The table will gasp, people will think im nuts, you'll even call me nuts after turning around with your hair disheveled, saying "what the FUCK man" or some such thing. My eyes will be bright white, beaming at you in full stare, fists already clenched, body rigid as a board. Possibly not the best fighters stance, but then again im not a professional kickboxer, just some guy with enough strength to fucking hurt you, and hurt you bad during my initial adrenaline rush. I'll do everything possible to entice you to stand up and face me, even though I expect you to be so scared you'll do nothing but sit in your chair. But God help you should you stand up towards me. I'll hit you. I'll hit you in your fucking face, over and over. I'll straddle on you and just keep hitting you and I wont stop until my hand hurts too much or I am satisfied with the damage. Perhaps if you begin crying like a bitch I'll feel bad for you and stop early, otherwise you will go home with stitches in your face and swollen lips. Wondering if there's a way to have TN save my table locations as default for resizing/positioning purposes? All I can find are the set-aside hotkeys, which seem to cap at 4 locations. Any help would be appreciated!

i moved house and got a job in telesales straight away. there were about 10 of us new starters and 50+ kids working in college-style computer room.
we had a database of numbers of businesses, and we had to phone them and explain that they are paying emergancy rate for their electricity. we then convince them to sign a contract with an energy supplier so theyre paying less. (not really telesales at all)
i found it really difficult and had super bad nerves and stumbled over my words when i was taken aback by anything.
we were given "shit" numbers beause we were new , which means they had already been phoned 5+ times and the people on the line were generally preetty pissy.
i was told by someone who'd been working there a while that if the managers didnt like you or you had bad sales then you'd always be given shitty numbers.
i was also told that if you ever took a monday or tuesday off for sick day, youd be given shit numbers for the rest of the week. so you dont do it again.
we were told on day1 that the basic wage was 160+comission. but on day2 we were told the basic was actually 80. (this is when i realised that this industry/people are full of bullshit. some people who had been working there a while said that they were getting paid literally fuck all some weeks. i didnt like the idea of working 5 days a week for 80-150. you only got 2-3 sets of numbers per day so there was a LOT of variance. you couldnt just call infinite people until you got a deal.
i almost got a deal on day2. the guy told me to come back with a quote, but after sending for a quote i had to ring him back to get his metre serial number. he called me a fucking cunt for that and started shouting so i hung up :3
another guy , i phoned up and said "hi is mr hig hog there?" and the receptionist said "um his name is highog not hig hog". that was pretty lol.
this guy next to me stood up to go take a pee one time, and one of the floor managers started on him. obviously they had some history but it wasnt very pleasant. the guy was like "dude i just need to take a pee ill be back" and the manager was like "ur always taking the piss". then the manager went right up to him and whispered (loudly) in his ear "FUCK YOUUUU". i was like .... and the guy was just shocked into silence. i kinda felt like walking out then.
the managers in general would strut around the office shouting "come on we need more sales get ur act together or you wont be going home" etc. they were insanely cocky jackasses, like something out of a movie. they had greasy slick hair and unbuttoned shirts and were the biggest pricks you can imagine. during lunch break they would play ps3 football and wash their bmws.
in sales, we were told to say that we search the entire market to find the best price for the customer. but really we only search 3 providers: the boss's company, and 2 others. the 2 others were so that if the boss didnt want to provide energy to, ,say, a shitty company that would shut down quickly, he could get comission by forwarding them to someone else.
another lie we told people was how much they are currently paying. if asked, we add "around 40%" to the new price we can offer them, and tell them theyre paying that.
i asked some people how much they got paid in their first few weeks and the consensus was "pretty much nothing". we had 2 weeks on a training wage and i asked people would we get paid that if we quit after 2-3 weeks? they said no, the managers wouldnt pay us (because they dont have to if they dont want to).
so i quit
like 2 days later i found out i had 30 quid in my bank and i was like WTF NO WAI I THOUGHT I HAD 500 NOT 30 DAMN WHY DID I QUIT THAT JOB. but like today i got a phone call saying i got a job as a receptionist so no biggy (although i suuure cut it close).

What is up blog world, cool month for me so far. I've been hanging out with this new girl in my life (pics upon request obv) for the last month everyday/all day so that has taken its toll on my playing poker but my results when I have been playing have been pretty stellar!!

My actual goal when I started the month was to make 10k because I figured I would not be playing to much with WSOP and this girl always around so I am happy I am almost there. I have actually been having alot of fun though and have done some pretty fun things lately. I lost team bowling though (thanks to my awful bowling partner obv) so now Padres tickets are on me. Were going to get tickets to Game 7 of Lakers v Celtics but still deciding if we should bring the women or not, smart choice says leave them at home imo lol
Am planning to go to Vegas on Friday for WSOP 1k on saturday and looking foward to meeting a ton of Small/Mid stakes guys I have never met before and seeing a bunch of ones I have met. Going to try to get pictures with every single TV pro I recognize and all the online guys there to lol, should be alot of fun!! Going to make the 4 hour drive out there in my M3 and hopefully run good and avoid speeding tickets!

As to my poker life, still playing at 100NL to 200NL. Still getting in 100k hands per month. Not having the greatest month so far, but still got 2 weeks to turn things around
1. any tips on multi tabling? i've tried it enough where i know i can't play very well. so i only play 6-8 now instead of 10+ that i used to. like i obviously know, realize and nearly accept that i cannot play 10+ tables for a very good winrate. but to be honest i'm just trying to figure out why. do any of the mass tablers have any tips on this issue?
2. is it worth getting money on absolute poker/cake poker/ultimate bet/party poker? i do enjoy my rake back but is the competition that much softer on the other sites? also how hard is it to get money off on these sites?
3. what is the best way to convert my ftp points into cash? i'm super bummed because i looked it up on lp and apparently back in the day you could have ordered an awesome bathrobe. but it looks like this iconic piece is no longer purchasable. so i'm looking to try and turn ftp points into cash.
4. i haven't perfected my game (not even close) but i do see some sort of plateau in the somewhat near future. how do i combat this? i don't really know what else to do. i'm not sure if watching videos will continue to help or not, so i'm kinda looking into coaching. or more so the prospect of coaching. to those who have received coaching how many sessions did you go through before you felt an effect on your game?

So i played 2 sessions. The first one of them i was down like 5 buy ins, managed to rise back up to -2 buy ins. Not the worst !
A bit later in the night I decided to make another session, which turned out to be not the best move i ever made. The hell broke loose! Lost a few buy ins in standard flips. Then got coolered by a 2 outer. Then I actually rose up a few buy ins, and thought it will not be that bad. I was Wrong - Lost KK vs AK. Then spewed a bit and voila ! -9 buy ins. gg
Rachel Maddow blasted BP COO Doug Suttles Monday night for what she found were highly misleading and inaccurate responses during an interview Suttles gave to NBC's Tom Costello.
Maddow had two main issues with the interview: 1. Suttles' explanation for why BP included animals such as walruses --which are typically not found in the region-- in a list of potentially endangered animals in BP's oil spill plan for the Gulf of Mexico; and 2. Suttles' attempt to defend the lack of technological innovation when it came to responding to spills by arguing that there had been "so few big spills" over the past few decades.
"The events haven't driven the technology change that's out there," Suttles told Costello.
Maddow called Suttles' explanation of the walrus mistake "not even a remotely believable answer." In response to his defense of the technology, she went to a board with a map of the United States on it and ran through a long list of oil spills that had occurred in the 2000s alone. She highlighted over a dozen of them, ranging from Massachusetts to Delaware to Louisiana to Alaska to California to Utah, and contradicting Suttles' claim that there have been too few spills to force the technology to catch up.
