Just wait till the US has more money in soccer rather than "football" or basketball. You'll see the beast athletes trying out soccer more. and a few of em will happen to be good at dribbling a soccer ball. Then the US will become a top flight team with that kinda of athleticism. and will make people like walcott or Lennon look fuckin slowwww

Even if the US government start razing basketball courts everywhere and replacing them with soccer fields it would still take 2-3 decades minimum for a country to produce a world class outfield player. Doesn't matter if the next Messi is born in America, if he doesn't get the right coaching infrastructure he'll just become another Adu.

Low took out Ozil probably because he was tired and doesn't chase balls. Marko Marin is the exact same type of player though slightly less experienced and probably less talented too but not by much. Mueller wasn't playing well so subbing him was logical. Cacau is as if not more creative and probably a better finisher. Can't take the defensive backbone Khedira + Schweinsteiger out or else Krasic would dribble through entire German team.

Also if Germany supporters are mad after that game then imagine how England supporters feel. Germany is still pretty much a lock for 1st in group, don't think they're gonna have trouble vs Ghana. The card happy ref was pretty bad though.
