Well shit kinda went sideways on me tonight, my gf or w/e you would call it broke up with me pretty much.. she was having problems balancing me and school.. and chose school.. which is totally understanding when you pay like 50K a year for school.. but sux for me. I guess i am a huge distraction and some people wanna b responsible, but like i said.. sux for me..

so i got that done with earlier today and decided to hit the bar with my friend, ended up having like 1 drink and some guy starts a fight with me, my one friend is pretty hippie and we erre in a basically empty bar vs some pissed off redneck dickhead, so i back out like a bitch, and feel great about my self!!! in reality i dont care 2 much, but it just builds rage for the situation im in.. This is a pretty normal thing for me but i never get used to it and it always gets under my skin, i dont know why i even go to bars around here, maybe this time ive learned my lession..

so pokers been going down hill a bit, my girl and poker heater is over and im just frustrated with everything in life.. but talking with stim abuser ( of all people LOL i know..) anyways talking with him was good help and some good advice, and talkng with some random girl on FB made me feel better.. one thing my ex has motivated me was to move in a more stable direction and just get to a point where i can actually get some of the other things i want in life.. before her to be honest i was very happy with what i have, but now i want more.. i want a porsche and just the possibility of traveling and maybe buying a different house or just renting a fuckshack apartment or something.. i duno what i wanna do with the money yet, but i know i wanna make more and not need poker to do it..

so im deff stepping away from full time poker playing, ive set alot of meetings this week already, and im going to set my self in a good computer related job here soon enough, and hopefully ill be able to get some of the things i want, or at least realize i dont want them, or dont want that kind of life.. its a possibility that id land my self a good job with good pay and once again decide i cant live like that and step away.. hopefully i wont burn as many bridges as last time..

anyways i still gotta grind to make money for now, but hopefully ill be playing just for fun soon.. but fuck relationships, the first thing i started thinking about when i met this girl was how bad it was gonna suck when it was over.. now i know LOL and im sure it will only take a few days to get over.. but hopefully the good things and the drive wills stick with me, to not be content with just my life right now and start planning a future outside of poker.. its a sick transition that all of us will have to make some day, hopefully i can do it pretty smoothly..

Sounds a lot like self wallowing pity time. How about instead of doing that, you go exercise and talk to that girl you met on facebook. You are young sir, with plenty of girls to fuck before you settle down.

Good luck bro. It sounds stupid as fuck that this actually worked but..... That day I contacted you and told you about my troubles in NL 25 (Had about 24 buy ins for NL 25 at the time) And you told me to settle down, play tight, don't get fancy, and also I took your advice on double barreling draws and such. Anyways it worked wonders and now I have 52 buy ins for NL 50. I finally realized I don't have to be a c/r and 3 bet/squeezing monkey to win at poker and can just fold my hands even when I think I can get them off theirs (even when you know your opponents hand they still have to believe yours is better ). So thank you so much for the help.

don't agree with this, you shouldn't make up too many excuses that could make you miss out on some nice situations (relations of some kind)
I don't think happyness is as much about creating a situation you are happy in, but more about creating a mindset in which you are happy about your situation
