if it's concepts for imaginary cellphones we're talking about where viability from an engineering standpoint is fine to ignore then how is that even close to the 'sickest cellphone ever'? it cant even fold out into a helicopter or let the user perform time travel, i mean come on

Most of those Georges are at the tail end of a 18 hour session. They can't see straight. Come on

the beauty here is this is all entirely possible today. Handheld projectors actually work well, as do projected keyboards with IR tracking. This thing could actually work and work well. I think the name and form factor are also pretty damn slick, good job mozilla. This is innovation at its finest. Here's hoping it actually leaves the paper.
bye now

what no way.. link me to a handheld product thats currently on the market today that has a projected keyboard with IR tracking that works well. if it exists i'd be very interested in being made aware of it.

Nice concept imo.
Ket, there probably arent those products yet, but the technologies exist and have been introduced, so its hopefully just a matter of time till engineers will be able to put it all into a small handheld device like this one.

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

do you guys think phones will eventually replace computers completely? Like the phone becomes so powerful/advanced that in addition to normal phone shit, you can just plug a keyboard/monitor/mouse into it and treat it exactly like a computer, or plug into the back of a tablet device to act a laptop (since a laptop of today would still have the advantage of a full keyboard and a larger screen versus using the future phone's small screen + keyboard as a laptop, however something ipad-ish that you slide your phone into would be better than a laptop in all ways). Do you guys think this sort of ultimate media device will emerge in the foreseeable future at a practical cost to completely eliminate the desktop/laptop as we know it?
This is going to be ages. Nobody uses the IR keyboard that's already out for a reason: there's no tactical feedback so the thing will always feel lossy.
Also: how do they do wireless charging? That's going to be hugely inefficient, if at all practical.
Elite: I'd like my cellphone to contain all my HD(s) and online profile, so I can dock it into a local computer. You can then use software based on subscriptions that are connected to your profile (so you pay a small amount for every hour you photoshop). Program data is all sent through Highband internet, Local stations do not have a HD, but they have a cpu, ram, graphics card an interface (monitor, keyboard, mouse, speech). Basically all the stuff you don't want to carry around.
