MOD EDIT: Removing your own screenname but not his? Come on.
RE: Edit - removed his screenname

-2.57(33,879/149,619) + -1.36(115,740/149,619)
.226435 .773565
-0.59194 + -1.05205

EQUALS = -1.644

-1.644 (so his BB for approx 150K hands is -1.644)

midstakes 6m is 70+% of his sample

I feel sick to my stomach.

a cardrunners coach should be able to solidly beat what he teaches. It's unlikely that Myth, if he's running bad, is even more than an FPP pro.

IF true, its bad. Hopefully the thread doesn't get locked instantly and something good comes of it.

please don't fill this with one-liner jabs. I think this should be taken seriously as LP endorses him as a Moderator and we basically endorse him by participating here.

well if other people play on his accounts I don't think he can publicly admit it right? because that could result in ban or at least trouble if the sites found out

in a perfect world myth would be forced to out his online credentials and explain his results on these two accounts
but we'll see what happens i guess

I guess it's officially settled that vitalmyth is not as vital as talentedtom is talented.

why would he share accounts?

and myth has never posted a graph over a big sample that he was a big winner

myth wins at all forms of poker regularly, mtt, midstakes online cash and live cash, players like mez back him and will vouch for him, but for the idiocy of the post and since we all know myth is a great player

he may not make 2 mil a year, but hes very good and writes good articles for cardplayer

I agree with most of this post, however as a coach myself and as someone who has followed the coaching scene, I feel that it is part of the coach's responsibility, especially if he works for a big name site and charges a very high hourly, that he verify his results. If people like boywonder can be witch hunted into oblivion and be mobbed into having to account for his winnings, the same should apply to everyone else. It's not extremely fair for myth, and it's probably irrelevant to him if people are willing to not question and pay him 350/hr anyway, but as someone who is a known player coach he sort of "owes" it to the community in a way. CR and LP "endorse" him as a player/coach, I think he should reciprocate.

Past that I have nothing else to say and this is just something more in general rather than Corwin in particular. Like Keanu mentioned, in an ideal world everyone would do this and so there would be less potential for Jason Ho scams, scandals, drama, etc.

Poker tracker screen shot of overall winnings or they are real. At Least the grader gives you an A for both accounts, As you're a coach charging a lot an hour you owe your current and potential students proof of your ability.

I have always found Myths articles and other materials to be really well written, whenever he discusses poker he makes a lot of sense. There are many players who can vouch for his skills, there are many students that will vouch for it as well. There's tons of people who like his videos and find themselves learning lots of stuff from it, but the stats in the OP are interesting nonetheless. Obviously the sample is rather large, but it's not an all saying sample by any means. People can definitely run bad over samples this size. Also as far as I know Myth has become primarily a live player lately playing tournaments and cashgames in the casinos and everybody who deals with him is happy with how things go.

No matter whether Myth is a good player or a bad player you should always be free to raise questions to the results of a coach. Coaches are in a position where they are spreading knowledge and a coach may or may not have the right credentials for this. The poker scene is already plagued with problems. Enough that we all need to watch out for each other and help bringing light to situations some may have doubts about. This topic is well within what is reasonable and a bunch of PTR stats should never be censored.

By closing this topic we take away Myths chance to present his side of the argument. Which is something that would raise a lot more questions than keeping it open. So I'm re-opening this. It is a tricky subject but I want to ask all of you to reply in a decent manner. Flames towards moderation are still not allowed on LP, posting douchebag replies still is not allowed. This topic may still be closed for regular moderation reasons later on if you guys can't behave.
