There will be 3 teams of 6 players. Each team has to have at least one player from the "lower buyins" category. The "lower buyins" member is the only one in the team that is allowed to play and submit scores for MTT SNGs (for example the 20$ 180man one). The teams will be decided by the 3 captains on Sunday 25th, at some time between the start of the LP tourny and sunday tournys. A 3 handed tournamnet will be held for the 3 captains to determine the order at which they get to pick teams. If they want the first pick, they'll have to win the tourny. Below is a (close to) final list of potential participants. If you feel there is a mistake and you should either be or not be on that list, please let me know before sunday. This will also be the deadline for applying (not too late yet).

Mig (Corwin) - needs no introduction. (i am lazy l0l)

TwistedEcho (Jon) - our resident professional tournament specialist poker player - check out a sneak preview of his article in the latest issue of WPT Magazine. There aren't many people who can claim to have built a bankroll and gone pro spending 95% of their poker playing time in multi table tournaments, and Jon has pulled it off with an unbelievable ROI. Nicknamed by some as the "rebuy king", Jon's obvious talent in MTTs backed by his sheer experience and knowledge as a student and specialist of tournament poker will mean anyone who gets on his team can probably consider themselves luckboxes.

casinocasino (Konstantin) - This may just look like some confused lost guy with a stupid hat, but do not be fooled! This is Kon, a slick high roller and member of the exclusive 100k+ club (and it is +++++). Although primarily a cashgame shark, he has also found some impressive success branching out to some high buyin MTTs on the side, playing a loose style playing lots of hands. You may remember his name from the Paradise Masters tournament where he bagged a cool 63k for 4th place at the final table in the Bahamas, or his 12k win in one of the 4th Annual Turningstone Classic events, and a more recent stars sunday final table appearance. Kon aims to show what he can do this July.

why isn't rasci in this ?
3 teams 6 players?
how about
4 teams 5 players
or
5 teams 4 players
6 players averaged thats no fun, 4 players average is more of a team, 6 player average 1 player can slack and the other team mates wont beon him like they would if it were 4 players.
what about
6 teams 3 players on each team, 1 captain 2 wings
2nd place gets their buyin back, 1st place takes it home
this way, the 3 players of the winning team take home if the team entry fee is 500, 2500 and split it 3 ways which is 833 833 833 each, while if u do 3 muckteams 6 players each first place takes home 1500, split 6 ways = 250 each
there should be like 6-20 teams thats a competition each with 3 players,
still captains and first pick goes to the worst rated captain and last pick the highest rated captain this way it balances out well |

smaller teams would be more interesting imo, but i don't think they can find another captain on this short notice, considering pretty much everyone who is capable has already been asked.

unless mig stops being a bitch fucking bitch fuck

(oh yeah also because there are 18 players, you'd need 6 captains to divide that up evenly unless you want uneven teams) |

                            6-16 teams.
1 captain and 2 players on a team

Much more lucrative prizes.
In the 3 team 6 player format, 500/6 = 83.3$ buyin, if ur team wins, then u get back 250, you only 3x ur entry that is suck.
But in the 6-16 3 player teams, you put in 166.6 and if you win you recieve 1000 to 2600 depending on whether there are 6 teams or 16 teams. Now thats something to play for, not some measley 250

Captain leadership
Captains can better lead their tightly knitted team of 3 players than their 6 player team, they only have to worry about two players instead of five. I mean most likely all the palyers will be palying @ the same time, two aim messages or 5 aim messages, 2 aim anyone can manage.
MORE TEAM SPIRIT, You are tightly knitted not some loose goose gathering. |

You have all the players entering this tournament rated.
Depending on how many players enter makes up how many captains and teams.
say there are 18 willing players, top 6 players are captains,
6th 7th 8th
5th 9th 10th
4th 11th 12th
3rd 13th 16th
2nd 14th 17th
1st 15th 18th |

who are you? Let ket sort this out, hes talked to everyone thats going to be involved before finalizing it and this works fine. The only other possibility would be have pooruser as a captain, and 4 teams - otherwise we don't have anyone else wanting to be a captain, so its 3 teams. |

lots of the good regulars will be in vegas, so mtts should be softer than usual. Assuming i sort out my one big problem (im moving house 29th, so won't have internet setup for a bit... i'll prob just go stay at home with my parents till my new house is up and running) then i think i'll aim for like 400mtts over july. No chance we don't win this! |

I dont plan on playing very many tournaments in july so I would probably be drafted in one of the early rounds and then be of little help for my team. So I think it would be better to just not be in the challenge. |
