can anyone tell me why robl called in the last hand in the ep?? That play confused me.

Because Raszi never has a set and almost never has 2 pair(and even if he does is probably folding it) so he never think Raszi can ever have a worse hand to call with but sometimes has the straight. A river c/r also looks extremely strong from Robl, who will never be bluffing in this spot and probably has one of the worst hands he'll have in this situation(JJ or AQ probably being the worst). Probably thinks that Raszi knows this and just makes it less likely he'll get his c/r called by anything less than a straight. Since Raszi is bet-folding the vast majority of his range, c/c and c/r have almost the exact same EV, with c/r being worse since it loses you more vs the only hands he's not bet/folding.

DN needs to figure out that checkraising is another way to counter light vbetting methinks.

raszi is prob calling w AJ and other 2 pairs, also would at least consider with AK and other Aces, its probably a terrible call to make without the nuts in Raszi spot if he gets c/raised but who knows, people make mistakes and call with hands that they shouldn't all the time, not raising there with QQ is just plain bad

What other 2 pairs? = AJ and Arag(I don't remember the board) are the only possible 2 pairs(other 2 pairs are barrelling turn) and he may not think Raszi is reraising those. And if he does think Raszi is likely to be reraising those, he'll also think KTo/s is in his range and given card cancellation, KT has to be just as likely as 2 pair, which would make a c/shove bad.

If Robl had been the pf3better, obviosly the situation would be vastly different. With Raszi 3betting, Robl cold calling oop(thus turning his hand face up with c/c, c, c/rAI line), I think his line is fine. Also, if Robl had opened, Raszi 3bet and then Robl called, I think he'd have to get it in at some point. With the specific way the hand played out, I think saying that not raising QQ is just plain bad is incredibly short sighted. Raszi would have to be terrible for not c/ring to be "plain bad".
