The problem is the jobs that will accept misfits are typically not intellectual variety and more so shit job with high repetitiveness. There are just way too many established English teachers with a lot of 4 or 5 star ratings on sites like italki that everyone will go to instead of giving a try to some rando. It's all about the ability to sell yourself and you're not a good candidate. Even if you were, it's just harder work for similar pay. You have to design your classes and update them and suit the needs of your clients. Video game testing is easy, you don't deal directly with the clients. You have experience with gaming and they basically hire you from that, and you'll probably like the people working in those places. Some projects are extremely chill and you have very little work to do so you can fuck around with your coworkers or surf the internet as you are already used to doing anyway. Except you won't be able to come to LP since it's a gambling site (a blessing for you).

He has had an influence mostly on what I have read and also some media but in almost all of those cases I know that consuming the books that I did was not a waste. I could go on about film and music. Edgar Morin, Byung-Chul Han, Gaspar Noé, Knut Hansen, et al. These people did not exist in my world before Loco and I am grateful that he introduced them to me.

I will say one more thing. I used to overdose on vicodin and vodka before I could even qualify for a temporary license wondering about existence and whether or not it was worth it to continue. It's obviously my own nature/nurture issue long before I even knew of Loco's existence (or Cioran, Benetar, Dostoevsky). I needed a lot of work on myself post-poker, surviving corporate hell, and post-drinking, and post-mental health breakdown. You are crazy to think that Loco did not help me at times through the years. Maybe it does not add up in your frame of the world but frankly you suck. Go fuck yourself. But, where you are missing the point is that I can meet people I like, feel fulfilled, find a goal, and find interesting ways to develop myself probably better without a job as long as the money isn't too tight to the point that I can't hang out with people and do stuff. Especially versus shitty repetitive jobs where I more or less do a very small number of tasks for 8+ hours a day, every day.

But, that latter scenario of retiring at 21 or 25 or 35 is not a very realistic one and does have "real world" repercussions of resume gaps, et al. Even if I had $1 million at age 21 I am not sure what I would do but I don't think that I would expect that I can make that last my lifetime. Not unless I wanted to spend most of my life with no life and eating like large batches of soups over 5 days and stuff like that.

Under the current systems everyone is coerced to participate even if I do not want to participate in the level of consumption that most people dream and fantasize about (albeit at times it gets to me too). There is a recent blog post on here of me talking about Mclarens and La Ferrars and Patek Phillipes and Prada. If there were a way to opt out I would think about it. Monks opt out. Suiciders opt out. I don't really want to do either of those at the moment but I also don't want to work. I am hungry. I like air conditioning. Sitting here typing on a blue switch mechanical keyboard in the AC is pleasing to me. I like to have options in my food. I'd rather choose my food than beg for food. I am used to sitting on a comfortable porcelain toilet when I poop.
