A sudden collapse of capitalism can only happen if the US collapses as a global leader and we should be very afraid. Hopefully, it's a 'smooth' transition which we're going through now where the US is slowly but surely collapsing every day by polarizing people while making them focus on useless topics.

The good part is that all of this pushes the EU into building their own army, which will happen sooner or later and then we can be militarily free from the US, which is a huge step.

The fact that people used to looked up to the US 20 years ago and now we view it as the world's most entertaining reality is enough of a sign showing where things are going.

I'm not sure what's so baffling about it. Spend a year a half saying "All Cops are Bastards" and "Defund the police" and it's not surprising why cops no longer want to risk their lives to try to arrest people that the DA is just going to turn loose the next day anyway.

If you work in a toxic environment you're free to leave, nobody's telling you to work there, but if you do choose to stay you're expected to deliver on your parts. It should be multiplied towards policemen considering their function in society.

Agree that it's not surprising, it's in no way justified though.

But I don't think there is any conspiracy here to benefit Amazon. The problem is that these people are just stupid.

There's a story circulating now where Seth Rogen responded to youtuber Casey Neistat having his car broken into in LA by telling him it's no big deal, that's just life in a big city, and get over it. He talks about his own car having been broken into 15 times and he doesn't get mad because he doesn't consider his car an extension of himself. His head is too far up his own ass to realize not everyone can afford personal assistants to get their cars repaired whenever they please.

I think these are the kinds of dumb fucks that are running this clown show. They are insulated from the chaos they create because of their wealth and privilege. It's the middle/working classes that have to deal with the fallout.

Update on the security guard: he was shot trying to prevent theft of the news camera. He died today
