Holy market manipulation batman. Trump is an absolute mad man... made the mistake of dumping some stocks before the recovery :/

He's planning to bomb "Mexico's cartels", probably to the delight of Baal

You cannot fathom how bad things have gotten in the last 7 years regarding the cartels, its absolute madness like 10x worse, so yeah I want him to turn anything remotely related to the cartels into ashes, but sadly I dont have high hopes for it to help, the cartel controls every corner of the government, every governor, major, judge and bureacrat is tied to the cartels and I mean this literally.

I don't expect you to believe me, I clearly remember you calling Obrador "the best president in the world" and he is the one who founded this narco socialist dictatorship unlivable hell hole.

Yeah I remember that being an issue with politics discussions with Eriador before, it's as difficult for me to conceptualize a working honest government as it is to him to conceptualize the evil of the once I experience.

So America bombed Cambodia and the khmr Rouge came out of that. Then they bombed Iraq and Afghanistan and ISIS came out of that.

As bad as the cartels are, I'm pretty sure bombings done by a government that doesn't discriminate would make things worse.

Well, according to Baal's favorite intellectual JBP, Canada will not survive another 4 years of liberal democracy, which means I live in a much bigger hellhole than Baal.

It is a very different situation, those are ideological groups, bombing communists and islamists will help them recruit more into their anti capitalist/USA movement, however the cartels are businesses, people dying doesnt help them recruit since the point is profit, the anti-american sentiment they will create wont help them recruit in any way.

Hyperbolic statement, but Trudeau's government has been one of the most incompetent in the developed world in the last decade, and that is a very though field lol.

Hilarious considering that NAFTA created some of the best conditions for the cartels to grow and thrive

Yeah I mean I think there's definitely truth to that and youd know cartels better than me. I would expect something monstrous to come out of it, just not sure what.

I base this on a pretty simple observation that violence on that scale tends to pretty much always destabilize and radicalize societies. All powerful actors and institutions exploit it for their own purposes as well.

That aside from it being an act of aggression that would create another enemy for America. Does war ever really improve the world? I cannot think of many cases where it has.

Yeah, throwing farmers out of work creates a large pool of potential cartel members. There's lots of solutions to stem that.

The thing is that the government has publicly took a policy of not fighting the cartels are all, they actually protect them and will protect them from the US, so something has to be done and it wont come from our government.
