i'm not a fan of taking breaks.
two weeks off might make you feel that you're off to a fresh start, but it won't change your mindset. if you can't handle beats right now you probably couldn't in two weeks time.
you can start off by refraining from posting beats. ask yourself why do you do that. looking for sympathy? acknowledgement that you're running worse than others?
i treat extended bad runs as tests. everyone has them from time to time. if you can honestly, objectively say that you played very well despite having bad luck than you sir made money, not lost it. |

wow, I see that this sucks so hard, especially since those hands were played all today.
Dunno what you could do, take a rest, read some pokerbooks to get your head off that bad-luck, good-luck thinking and concentrate on the strategy again. |

I dont really like taking breaks either. If it goes really bad I quit for the day some times, but that's about it. |

I think he needs confirmation about whether or not it is bad luck or skill. Not sympathy. Most people start doubting their abilities during bad runs. |

limit used to be a walk in the park for me, now i dont even win low limits its ridiculous. i think its a mix of tougher game, bad luck, and my skills getting affected by both of these. |

its not tilt, a mistake here and there due to bad run of course, but most of it just bad luck (compared to my standard play, not that i play any good. my play in this period of time does not differ from my normal game all that much). no way out, waiting for better tommorow |

Well after running like crap and loosing 2.5k today, i promise to NEVER bitch about a badbeat, downswing or anything like that.
nor post a single bad beat hand (unless it has an specific purpouse).
plus ill put a nice signature as reminder. |
